1Las balanzas falsas no aprueba el Señor, pero aprueba las balanzas exactas.
2Cuando viene el orgullo, viene la vergüenza, pero la sabiduría es con el de espíritu humilde.
3La justicia de los rectos será su guía, pero los caminos retorcidos de los falsos serán su destrucción.
4La riqueza no tiene ganancia en el día del juicio, pero la justicia mantiene a un hombre a salvo de la muerte.
5La justicia del hombre bueno hará que su camino sea recto, pero el pecado del malhechor será la causa de su caída.
6La justicia de los rectos será su salvación, pero los falsos mismos serán tomados en sus designios malvados.
7Al morir un hombre recto, su esperanza no llega a su fin, pero la esperanza del malhechor llega a la destrucción.
8El hombre recto es quitado de la angustia, y en su lugar viene el pecador.
9Con su boca el hombre malo envía destrucción a su prójimo; pero a través del conocimiento, los justos se sacan de problemas.
10Cuando las cosas van bien para el hombre recto, todo el pueblo está contento; a la muerte de los pecadores, hay gritos de alegría.
11Por la bendición del hombre recto, la ciudad se hace grande, pero la boca del malhechor la derriba.
12El que tiene una mala opinión de su prójimo no tiene sentido, pero el sabio guarda silencio.
13El que habla de los demás hace públicos los secretos, pero el hombre de corazón sincero lo cubre.
14Cuando no hay una sugerencia de ayuda, la gente tendrá una caída, pero con una serie de guías sabios estarán a salvo.
15El que se hace responsable de un hombre extraño sufrirá mucha pérdida; pero el enemigo de fianzas estará a salvo.
16Una mujer que está llena de gracia es honrada, pero una mujer que odia la rectitud es un asiento de vergüenza: los que odian el trabajo sufrirán la pérdida, pero los fuertes conservarán su riqueza.
17El hombre que tiene misericordia será recompensado, pero el hombre cruel es la causa de problemas para sí mismo.
18El pecador recibe el pago del engaño; pero su recompensa es segura de quién pone en la semilla de la rectitud.
19Así que la justicia da vida; pero el que persigue el mal obtiene la muerte para sí mismo.
20Los imprudentes son odiados por el Señor, pero aquellos cuyos caminos son sin error son su deleite.
21Ciertamente, el malhechor no se librará del castigo, pero la simiente del hombre recto estará a salvo.
22Como un anillo de oro en la nariz de un cerdo, es una mujer hermosa que no tiene sentido.
23El deseo del hombre recto es solo para bien, pero la ira está esperando al malhechor.
24Un hombre puede dar libremente, y aun así su riqueza aumentará; y otro puede retener más de lo correcto, pero solo llega a necesitarlo.
25El que da bendición prosperará; pero el que maldice será maldecido.
26El que retiene el grano será maldecido por el pueblo; pero una bendición estará en la cabeza de él que les permite tenerlo por un precio.
27El que, con todo su corazón, va tras lo que es bueno, está buscando la gracia; pero el que está buscando problemas lo obtendrá.
28El que pone su fe en la riqueza, se desvanecerá; pero el hombre recto reverdecerá como la hoja verde.
29El intruso de su casa tendrá el viento por su herencia, y el insensato será siervo de los sabios de corazón.
30El fruto de la justicia es un árbol de la vida; pero el comportamiento violento quita las almas.
31Si el hombre recto es recompensado en la tierra, ¡cuánto más el malhechor y el pecador!

1EL peso falso abominación es á Jehová: mas la pesa cabal le agrada.
2Cuando viene la soberbia, viene también la deshonra: mas con los humildes es la sabiduría.
3La integridad de los rectos los encaminará: mas destruirá á los pecadores la perversidad de ellos.
4No aprovecharán las riquezas en el día de la ira: mas la justicia librará de muerte.
5La justicia del perfecto enderezará su camino: mas el impío por su impiedad caerá.
6La justicia de los rectos los librará: mas los pecadores en su pecado serán presos.
7Cuando muere el hombre impío, perece su esperanza; y la espectativa de los malos perecerá.
8El justo es librado de la tribulación: mas el impío viene en lugar suyo.
9El hipócrita con la boca daña á su prójimo: mas los justos son librados con la sabiduría.
10En el bien de los justos la ciudad se alegra: mas cuando los impíos perecen, hay fiestas.
11Por la bendición de los rectos la ciudad será engrandecida: mas por la boca de los impíos ella será trastornada.
12El que carece de entendimiento, menosprecia á su prójimo: mas el hombre prudente calla.
13El que anda en chismes, descubre el secreto: mas el de espíritu fiel encubre la cosa.
14Cuando faltaren las industrias, caerá el pueblo: mas en la multitud de consejeros hay salud.
15Con ansiedad será afligido el que fiare al extraño: mas el que aborreciere las fianzas vivirá confiado.
16La mujer graciosa tendrá honra: y los fuertes tendrán riquezas.
17A su alma hace bien el hombre misericordioso: mas el cruel atormenta su carne.
18El impío hace obra falsa: mas el que sembrare justicia, tendrá galardón firme.
19Como la justicia es para vida, así el que sigue el mal es para su muerte.
20Abominación son á Jehová los perversos de corazón: mas los perfectos de camino le son agradables.
21Aunque llegue la mano á la mano, el malo no quedará sin castigo: mas la simiente de los justos escapará.
22Zarcillo de oro en la nariz del puerco, es la mujer hermosa y apartada de razón.
23El deseo de los justos es solamente bien: mas la esperanza de los impíos es enojo.
24Hay quienes reparten, y les es añadido más: y hay quienes son escasos más de lo que es justo, mas vienen á pobreza.
25El alma liberal será engordada: y el que saciare, él también será saciado.
26Al que retiene el grano, el pueblo lo maldecirá: mas bendición será sobre la cabeza del que vende.
27El que madruga al bien, buscará favor: mas el que busca el mal, vendrále.
28El que confía en sus riquezas, caerá: mas los justos reverdecerán como ramos.
29El que turba su casa heredará viento; y el necio será siervo del sabio de corazón.
30El fruto del justo es árbol de vida: y el que prende almas, es sabio.
31Ciertamente el justo será pagado en la tierra: ¡cuánto más el impío y el pecador!

1A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
2When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
3The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
5The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
7When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
8The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
9An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
10When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
11By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
12He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
13A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
14Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
15He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

27He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
