Hay quien hace inconsideradamente una promesa, y al instante, como herido de una espada, se ve estimulado de su conciencia; mas la lengua de los sabios acarrea la salud y bienestar.

Hay quienes hablan como dando estocadas de espada: mas la lengua de los sabios es medicina.

There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals.
