Proverbios 12

1Aquele que ama a correção ama o conhecimento; mas aquele que odeia a repreensão é um bruto.
2O homem de bem ganha o favor do SENHOR; mas ao homem de pensamentos perversos, ele o condenará.
3O homem não prevalecerá pela perversidade; mas a raiz dos justos não será removida.
4A mulher virtuosa é a coroa de seu marido; mas a causadora de vergonha é como uma podridão em seus ossos.
5Os pensamentos dos justos são de bom juízo; mas os conselhos dos perversos são enganosos.
6As palavras dos perversos são para espreitar o derramamento de sangue de inocentes ; mas a boca dos corretos os livrará.
7Os perversos serão transtornados, e não existirão mais ; porém a casa dos justos permanecerá.
8Cada um será elogiado conforme seu entendimento; mas o perverso de coração será desprezado.
9Melhor é o que estima pouco a si mesmo mas tem quem o sirva, do que aquele que elogia e si mesmo, mas nem sequer tem pão.
10O justo dá atenção à vida de seus animais; mas até as misericórdias dos perversos são cruéis.
11Aquele que lavra sua terra se saciará de pão; mas o que segue coisas inúteis tem falta de juízo.
12O perverso deseja armadilhas malignas; porém a raiz dos justos produzirá seu fruto .
13O perverso é capturado pela transgressão de seus lábios, mas o justo sairá da angústia.
14Cada um se sacia do bem pelo fruto de sua própria boca; e a recompensa das mãos do homem lhe será entregue de volta.
15O caminho do tolo é correto aos seus próprios olhos; mas aquele que ouve o bom conselho é sábio.
16A ira do tolo é conhecida no mesmo dia, mas o prudente ignora o insulto.
17Aquele que fala a verdade conta a justiça; porém a testemunha falsa conta o engano.
18Há alguns que falam palavras como que golpes de espada; porém a língua do sábios é como um remédio.
19O lábio da verdade ficará para sempre, mas a língua da falsidade dura por apenas um momento.
20Há engano no coração dos que tramam o mal; mas os que aconselham a paz têm alegria.
21Nenhuma adversidade sobrevirá ao justos; mas os perversos se encherão de mal.
22Os lábios mentirosos são abomináveis ao SENHOR, mas dos que falam a verdade são seu prazer.
23O homem prudente é discreto em conhecimento; mas o coração dos tolos proclama a loucura.
24A mão dos que trabalham com empenho dominará, e os preguiçosos se tornarão escravos.
25A ansiedade no coração do homem o abate; mas uma boa palavra o alegra.
26O justo age cuidadosamente para com seu próximo, mas o caminho dos perversos os faz errar.
27O preguiçoso não assa aquilo que caçou, mas a riqueza de quem trabalha com empenho lhe é preciosa.
28Na vereda da justiça está a vida; e no caminho de seu percurso não há morte.

1EL que ama la corrección ama la sabiduría: mas el que aborrece la reprensión, es ignorante.
2El bueno alcanzará favor de Jehová: mas él condenará al hombre de malos pensamientos.
3El hombre no se afirmará por medio de la impiedad: mas la raíz de los justos no será movida.
4La mujer virtuosa corona es de su marido: mas la mala, como carcoma en sus huesos.
5Los pensamientos de los justos son rectitud; mas los consejos de los impíos, engaño.
6Las palabras de los impíos son para acechar la sangre: mas la boca de los rectos los librará.
7Dios trastornará á los impíos, y no serán más: mas la casa de los justos permanecerá.
8Según su sabiduría es alabado el hombre: mas el perverso de corazón será en menosprecio.
9Mejor es el que es menospreciado y tiene servidores, que el que se precia, y carece de pan.
10El justo atiende á la vida de su bestia: mas las entrañas de los impíos son crueles.
11El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: mas el que sigue los vagabundos es falto de entendimiento.
12Desea el impío la red de los malos: mas la raíz de los justos dará fruto.
13El impío es enredado en la prevaricación de sus labios: mas el justo saldrá de la tribulación.
14El hombre será harto de bien del fruto de su boca: y la paga de las manos del hombre le será dada.
15El camino del necio es derecho en su opinión: mas el que obedece al consejo es sabio.
16El necio luego al punto da á conocer su ira: mas el que disimula la injuria es cuerdo.
17El que habla verdad, declara justicia; mas el testigo mentiroso, engaño.
18Hay quienes hablan como dando estocadas de espada: mas la lengua de los sabios es medicina.
19El labio de verdad permanecerá para siempre: mas la lengua de mentira por un momento.
20Engaño hay en el corazón de los que piensan mal: mas alegría en el de los que piensan bien.
21Ninguna adversidad acontecerá al justo: mas los impíos serán llenos de mal.
22Los labios mentirosos son abominación á Jehová: mas los obradores de verdad su contentamiento.
23El hombre cuerdo encubre la ciencia: mas el corazón de los necios publica la necedad.
24La mano de los diligentes se enseñoreará: mas la negligencia será tributaria.
25El cuidado congojoso en el corazón del hombre, lo abate; mas la buena palabra lo alegra.
26El justo hace ventaja á su prójimo: mas el camino de los impíos les hace errar.
27El indolente no chamuscará su caza: mas el haber precioso del hombre es la diligencia.
28En el camino de la justicia está la vida; y la senda de su vereda no es muerte.

1Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
2A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
3A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
4A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
5The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
9He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
10A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
11He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.
12The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
13The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
14A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.
15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
16A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
17He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
18There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
19The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
22Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
23A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
24The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
25Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
26The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
27The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
28In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

12The wicked desires the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous flourishes.
13An evil man is trapped by sinfulness of lips, but the righteous shall come out of trouble.
14A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The work of a man’s hands shall be rewarded to him.
15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.
16A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
17He who is truthful testifies honestly, but a false witness lies.
18There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals.
19Truth’s lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary.
20Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.
21No mischief shall happen to the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil.
22Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who do the truth are his delight.
23A prudent man keeps his knowledge, but the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness.
24The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.
25Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad.
26A righteous person is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
27The slothful man doesn’t roast his game, but the possessions of diligent men are prized.
28In the way of righteousness is life; in its path there is no death.
