Proverbios 13

Wer seine Rute schont, der haßt sein Kind; wer es aber lieb hat, läßt es früh die Züchtigung fühlen. –

El que detiene el castigo, á su hijo aborrece: mas el que lo ama, madruga á castigarlo.

He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

One who spares the rod hates his son, but one who loves him is careful to discipline him.
