Il senno, per chi lo possiede, è fonte di vita, ma la stoltezza è il castigo degli stolti.

Manantial de vida es el entendimiento al que lo posee: mas la erudición de los necios es necedad.

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Understanding is a fountain of life to one who has it, but the punishment of fools is their folly.
