Ein Bruder, gegen den man treulos gehandelt hat, leistet stärkeren Widerstand als eine feste Stadt, und Zerwürfnisse sind wie der Riegel einer Burg. –

El hermano ofendido es más tenaz que una ciudad fuerte: y las contiendas de los hermanos son como cerrojos de alcázar.

A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.

A brother offended is more difficult than a fortified city. Disputes are like the bars of a fortress.
