Proverbios 19

Percuoti lo schernitore, e il semplice ne diventerà avveduto; E se tu correggi l'uomo intendente, egli intenderà la scienza.

Hiere al escarnecedor, y el simple se hará avisado; y corrigiendo al entendido, entenderá ciencia.

Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

Flog a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke one who has understanding, and he will gain knowledge.
