Para entender sabiduría y doctrina; para conocer las razones prudentes;
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
to know wisdom and instruction; to discern the words of understanding;
pour montrer les artifices des discours ; pour enseigner vraiment la justice, pour instruire à juger avec rectitude ;
Para recibir el consejo de prudencia, justicia, y juicio y equidad;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity;
pour donner aux innocents la sagacité, aux jeunes gens la doctrine et l'intelligence.
Para dar sagacidad á los simples, y á los jóvenes inteligencia y cordura.
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man—
Car le sage qui les aura ouïs sera plus sage, et l'homme entendu saura l'art de gouverner.
Oirá el sabio, y aumentará el saber; y el entendido adquirirá consejo;
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
that the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; that the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel;
Il pénétrera la parabole et le sens voilé, et les paroles des sages, et leurs énigmes.

La crainte du Seigneur est le commencement de la sagesse ; la prudence est bonne à tous ceux qui la mettent en pratique ; la piété envers Dieu est le principe de la sagesse ; les insensés méprisent la sagesse et la doctrine.
El principio de la sabiduría es el temor de Jehová: los insensatos desprecian la sabiduría y la enseñanza.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
Écoute, mon fils, les instructions de ton père, et ne repousse pas la loi de ta mère
Oye, hijo mío, la doctrina de tu padre, y no desprecies la dirección de tu madre:
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
My son, listen to your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching;
et tu ajouteras une couronne de grâces à ta tête, et à ton cou un collier d'or.
Porque adorno de gracia serán á tu cabeza, y collares á tu cuello.
For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck.
Mon fils, prends garde que les impies ne t'égarent ; ne leur donne pas ton consentement.
Hijo mío, si los pecadores te quisieren engañar, no consientas.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
My son, if sinners entice you, don’t consent.
S'ils te convient, disant : Viens avec nous, prends ta part du sang ; cachons en terre injustement l'homme juste ;
Si dijeren: Ven con nosotros, pongamos asechanzas á la sangre, acechemos sin motivo al inocente;
If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
If they say, “Come with us. Let’s lie in wait for blood. Let’s lurk secretly for the innocent without cause.
engloutissons-le tout vivant, comme dans l'enfer, et effaçons de la terre tout souvenir de lui.
Los tragaremos vivos como el sepulcro, y enteros, como los que caen en sima;
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
Let’s swallow them up alive like Sheol, and whole, like those who go down into the pit.
Emparons-nous de ses richesses les plus précieuses, et remplissons nos demeures de ses dépouilles.
Hallaremos riquezas de todas suertes, henchiremos nuestras casas de despojos;
We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
We’ll find all valuable wealth. We’ll fill our houses with plunder.
Mets ta part avec la nôtre ; faisons tous bourse commune et n'ayons qu'un trésor.
Echa tu suerte entre nosotros; tengamos todos una bolsa:
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
You shall cast your lot among us. We’ll all have one purse”—
Mon fils, ne vas pas en leur voie ; éloigne ton pied de leurs sentiers ;
Hijo mío, no andes en camino con ellos; aparta tu pie de sus veredas:
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
my son, don’t walk on the path with them. Keep your foot from their path,
Car leurs pieds courent au mal, ils se hâtent pour répandre le sang.
Porque sus pies correrán al mal, é irán presurosos á derramar sangre.
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
for their feet run to evil. They hurry to shed blood.
car ce n'est pas vainement qu'on tend des filets aux oiseaux.
Porque en vano se tenderá la red ante los ojos de toda ave;
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
For the net is spread in vain in the sight of any bird;
Mais ceux qui participent à un meurtre thésaurisent pour eux des malheurs ; et la chute des pervers est funeste.
Mas ellos á su propia sangre ponen asechanzas, y á sus almas tienden lazo.
And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.

Telles sont les voies de tous les ouvriers d'iniquité ; par leur impiété, ils détruisent leur propre vie.
Tales son las sendas de todo el que es dado á la codicia, la cual prenderá el alma de sus poseedores.
So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain. It takes away the life of its owners.
La Sagesse chante dans les rues ; elle parle librement au milieu des places.
La sabiduría clama de fuera, da su voz en las plazas:
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares.
Et du haut des remparts elle crie comme un héraut, et elle s'assied devant les portes des riches ; et aux portes de la cité, pleine d'assurance, elle dit :
Clama en los principales lugares de concurso; en las entradas de las puertas de la ciudad dice sus razones:
She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
She calls at the head of noisy places. At the entrance of the city gates, she utters her words:
Tant que les innocents s'attacheront à la justice, ils ne seront point humiliés ; quant aux insensés, pleins de désirs honteux, devenus impies, ils haïssent la science,
¿Hasta cuándo, oh simples, amaréis la simpleza, y los burladores desearán el burlar, y los insensatos aborrecerán la ciencia?
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?
et sont exposés aux opprobres. Voilà que je vais proférer pour vous les paroles de mon esprit ; je vais vous enseigner mes discours.
Volveos á mi reprensión: he aquí yo os derramaré mi espíritu, y os haré saber mis palabras.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.
J'ai appelé, et vous n'avez point obéi ; j'ai parlé longuement, et vous n'étiez pas attentifs ;
Por cuanto llamé, y no quisisteis; extendí mi mano, y no hubo quien escuchase;
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;
mais vous avez mis à néant mes conseils, et vous avez été rebelles à mes réprimandes.
Antes desechasteis todo consejo mío, y mi reprensión no quisisteis:
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
but you have ignored all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof;
Aussi moi je rirai au jour de votre perte, et je me réjouirai quand viendra votre ruine,
También yo me reiré en vuestra calamidad, y me burlaré cuando os viniere lo que teméis;
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you,
et quand soudain le trouble fondra sur vous, et que votre catastrophe sera là comme une tempête, et quand viendra sur vous la tribulation et l'oppression, et enfin la mort.
Cuando viniere como una destrucción lo que teméis, y vuestra calamidad llegare como un torbellino; cuando sobre vosotros viniere tribulación y angustia.
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come on you.
Car alors vous m'invoquerez ; mais moi je ne vous écouterai point ; les méchants me chercheront, et ils ne me trouveront pas.
Entonces me llamarán, y no responderé; buscarme han de mañana, y no me hallarán:
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me,
Car ils haïssent la Sagesse ; et ils n'ont point choisi de préférence la parole du Seigneur.
Por cuanto aborrecieron la sabiduría, y no escogieron el temor de Jehová,
For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
because they hated knowledge, and didn’t choose the fear of the LORD.
Et ils n'ont point voulu être attentifs à mes conseils ; et ils se sont raillés de mes reproches.
Ni quisieron mi consejo, y menospreciaron toda reprensión mía:
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof.
Aussi mangeront-ils les fruits de leurs voies ; et ils se rassasieront de leur propre impiété.
Comerán pues del fruto de su camino, y se hartarán de sus consejos.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.
Car ils seront mis à mort, pour avoir fait tort aux petits ; et l'examen de leur cause perdra les impies.
Porque el reposo de los ignorantes los matará, y la prosperidad de los necios los echará á perder.
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
For the backsliding of the simple will kill them. The careless ease of fools will destroy them.
Tandis que celui qui m'écoute s'abritera sous l'espérance, et se reposera sans avoir à craindre aucun mal.
Mas el que me oyere, habitará confiadamente, y vivirá reposado, sin temor de mal.
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm.”
