para te ensinar a verdade nessas palavras de confiança, para que dês respostas confiáveis a quem te enviou?
Para hacerte saber la certidumbre de las razones verdaderas, para que puedas responder razones de verdad á los que á ti enviaren?
That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?
To teach you truth, reliable words, to give sound answers to the ones who sent you?
Não roubes o pobre, porque ele é pobre, nem esmagues o aflito no portão,
No robes al pobre, porque es pobre, ni quebrantes en la puerta al afligido:
Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court;
pois Yahweh defenderá a causa deles e tirará a vida de quem os roubar.
Porque Jehová juzgará la causa de ellos, y despojará el alma de aquellos que los despojaren.
For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man. Don’t associate with one who harbors anger,
para que tu não aprendas seus costumes, nem tua alma se envolva em alguma armadilha.
Porque no aprendas sus maneras, y tomes lazo para tu alma.
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
lest you learn his ways and ensnare your soul.
Não sejas aquele que logo aperta as mãos fazendo promessa, nem aquele que fica por fiador de dívidas.
No estés entre los que tocan la mano, entre los que fían por deudas.
Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.

Se tu não tens como pagar, o que impediria alguém de tirar a tua cama debaixo de ti?

If thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?

Não removas o limite de pedra antigo que teus pais fixaram.
No traspases el término antiguo que pusieron tus padres.
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
Don’t move the ancient boundary stone which your fathers have set up.
Já observaste um homem habilidoso em seu trabalho? Ele estará diante de reis, não no meio de pessoas comuns.
¿Has visto hombre solícito en su obra? delante de los reyes estará; no estará delante de los de baja suerte.
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men.
