Ne vous enivrez pas ; mais faites votre société des hommes justes, et fréquentez-les publiquement. Car si vos yeux s'arrêtent sur les fioles et les coupes, plus tard vous marcherez plus nu qu'un pilon à mortier.

No mires al vino cuando rojea, cuando resplandece su color en el vaso: éntrase suavemente;

Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.

Don’t look at the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly.
