e vi que tudo estava coberto de mato e espinheiros. Havia ervas daninhas por toda parte, e o muro de pedras estava em ruínas.

Y he aquí que por toda ella habían ya crecido espinas, ortigas habían ya cubierto su haz, y su cerca de piedra estaba ya destruída.

And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.
