Et voilà qu'il était tout envahi par l'ivraie; les ronces en recouvraient la surface, l'enclos de pierres était en ruines.

Y he aquí que por toda ella habían ya crecido espinas, ortigas habían ya cubierto su haz, y su cerca de piedra estaba ya destruída.

And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.
