Não sintas inveja daqueles que são maus, nem desejes associar-te a eles,
NO tengas envidia de los hombres malos, ni desees estar con ellos:
Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

porque seus corações planejam violência, e seus lábios falam sobre o mal.
Porque su corazón piensa en robar, é iniquidad hablan sus labios.
For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

Por meio da sabedoria, uma casa é construída e, pelo entendimento, é estabelecida.
Con sabiduría se edificará la casa, y con prudencia se afirmará:
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

Pelo conhecimento, seus cômodos se enchem com todas as riquezas preciosas e agradáveis.
Y con ciencia se henchirán las cámaras de todo bien preciado y agradable.
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure.
O guerreiro de sabedoria é forte, e a pessoa de conhecimento aumenta sua força,
El hombre sabio es fuerte; y de pujante vigor el hombre docto.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
A wise man has great power. A knowledgeable man increases strength,
porque, pela direção sábia, tu podes fazer a tua guerra e, com muitos conselheiros, há vitória.
Porque con ingenio harás la guerra: y la salud está en la multitud de consejeros.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
for by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors.
A sabedoria é alta demais para o tolo, entre os líderes, no portão, ele não abre sua boca.
Alta está para el insensato la sabiduría: en la puerta no abrirá él su boca.
Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

Há um que planeja fazer o mal; as pessoas o chamam de mestre das intrigas.
Al que piensa mal hacer le llamarán hombre de malos pensamientos.
He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
One who plots to do evil will be called a schemer.
Um plano insensato é pecado, e os homens desprezam o zombador.
El pensamiento del necio es pecado: y abominación á los hombres el escarnecedor.
The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
The schemes of folly are sin. The mocker is detested by men.
Se te mostrares fraco e com medo no dia de dificuldade, então, a tua força é pequena.
Si fueres flojo en el día de trabajo, tu fuerza será reducida.
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small.
Resgata aqueles que são levados à morte, e segura aqueles que cambaleiam para a matança.
Si dejares de librar los que son tomados para la muerte, y los que son llevados al degolladero;
If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter!
Se disseres: "Eis que não sabemos nada sobre isso", por acaso, Aquele que pesa os corações não entende o que estás dizendo? E Aquele que guarda tua vida não sabe? Por acaso, Deus não dará a cada um o que merece?
Si dijeres: Ciertamente no lo supimos; ¿no lo entenderá el que pesa los corazones? El que mira por tu alma, él lo conocerá, y dará al hombre según sus obras.
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
If you say, “Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not give to every man according to his work?
Meu filho, come mel, porque é bom, porque o gotejamento do favo de mel é doce para o teu paladar.
Come, hijo mío, de la miel, porque es buena, y del panal dulce á tu paladar:
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
My son, eat honey, for it is good, the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;
Assim é a sabedoria para tua alma; se tu a achares, haverá um futuro, e tua esperança não será cortada.
Tal será el conocimiento de la sabiduría á tu alma: si la hallares tendrá recompensa, y al fin tu esperanza no será cortada.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
so you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.
Não fiques à espreita, como o corrupto que ataca a casa do justo. Não destruas a casa dele.
Oh impío, no aceches la tienda del justo, no saquees su cámara;
Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
Don’t lay in wait, wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Don’t destroy his resting place;
Porque o justo cai sete vezes e se levanta de novo, mas os corruptos são abatidos pela calamidade.
Porque siete veces cae el justo, y se torna á levantar; mas los impíos caerán en el mal.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Não celebres quando teu inimigo cair, e que o teu coração não fique contente quando ele tropeçar,
Cuando cayere tu enemigo, no te huelgues; y cuando tropezare, no se alegre tu corazón:
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,
Yahweh verá e desaprovará e desviará Sua fúria dele.
Porque Jehová no lo mire, y le desagrade, y aparte de sobre él su enojo.
Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Não te preocupes por causa dos malfeitores, nem invejes os corruptos,
No te entrometas con los malignos, ni tengas envidia de los impíos;
Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;
porque a pessoa má não tem futuro, e a lâmpada dos corruptos se apagará.
Porque para el malo no habrá buen fin, y la candela de los impíos será apagada.
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
for there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.
Teme a Yahweh e teme o rei, meu filho; não te associes com aqueles que se rebelam contra eles,
Teme á Jehová, hijo mío, y al rey; no te entrometas con los veleidosos:
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
My son, fear the LORD and the king. Don’t join those who are rebellious,
pois, de repente, seu desastre virá, e quem sabe o tamanho da destruição que virá para ambos?
Porque su quebrantamiento se levantará de repente; y el quebrantamiento de ambos, ¿quién lo comprende?
For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
for their calamity will rise suddenly. Who knows what destruction may come from them both?
Estes também são dizeres dos sábios: parcialidade no julgamento de um caso da lei não é bom.
También estas cosas pertenecen á los sabios. Tener respeto á personas en el juicio no es bueno.
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Quem diz ao corrupto: "Tú és justo" será amaldiçoado pelos povos e odiado pelas nações.
El que dijere al malo, Justo eres, los pueblos lo maldecirán, y le detestarán las naciones:
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—
Mas aqueles que repreendem o corrupto terão deleite e presentes de bondade virão para eles.
Mas los que lo reprenden, serán agradables, y sobre ellos vendrá bendición de bien.
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.
Uma resposta honesta é como um beijo de amizade.
Besados serán los labios del que responde palabras rectas.
Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
Prepara o teu trabalho de fora e deixa tudo pronto para ti mesmo no campo; depois disso, constrói a tua casa.
Apresta tu obra de afuera, y disponla en tu heredad; y después edificarás tu casa.
Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.
Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house.
Não dês testemunho contra teu próximo sem causa, nem enganes com teus lábios.
No seas sin causa testigo contra tu prójimo; y no lisonjees con tus labios.
Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
Don’t be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don’t deceive with your lips.
Não digas: "Farei a ele o que ele fez a mim; eu lhe pagarei de volta pelo que ele fez".
No digas: Como me hizo, así le haré; daré el pago al hombre según su obra.
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
Don’t say, “I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work.”
Eu passei pelo campo do homem preguiçoso, passei pela vinha do homem sem entendimento.
Pasé junto á la heredad del hombre perezoso, y junto á la viña del hombre falto de entendimiento;
I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
I went by the field of the sluggard, by the vineyard of the man void of understanding.
Espinhos cresceram em todo o lugar, a terra estava coberta com urtigas e seu muro de pedra estava derrubado.
Y he aquí que por toda ella habían ya crecido espinas, ortigas habían ya cubierto su haz, y su cerca de piedra estaba ya destruída.
And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

Então, eu vi e considerei isso; eu olhei e recebi instrução.

e a pobreza vem sobre ti como um ladrão, e as tuas necessidades, como um soldado armado.
Así vendrá como caminante tu necesidad, y tu pobreza como hombre de escudo.
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.
