Não tenha inveja dos homens perversos! Não deseje a companhia deles;
NO tengas envidia de los hombres malos, ni desees estar con ellos:
Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

porque eles passam o tempo todo planejando novas maneiras de fazer o mal e enganar os outros.
Porque su corazón piensa en robar, é iniquidad hablan sus labios.
For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

Com a sabedoria se constrói a casa, e com prudência ela se consolida.
Con sabiduría se edificará la casa, y con prudencia se afirmará:
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

Conhecer e entender a vida é a melhor maneira de acumular muitas riquezas e dar a sua família tudo de que ela necessita.
Y con ciencia se henchirán las cámaras de todo bien preciado y agradable.
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure.
Para vencer na vida, a sabedoria vale muito mais que a força bruta, e o bom senso muito mais que a valentia.
El hombre sabio es fuerte; y de pujante vigor el hombre docto.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
A wise man has great power. A knowledgeable man increases strength,
Nunca vá para a batalha sem pedir conselhos a vários homens sábios; bons conselheiros sempre nos ajudam a vencer.
Porque con ingenio harás la guerra: y la salud está en la multitud de consejeros.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
for by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors.
A sabedoria é elevada demais para o homem sem juízo; quando são discutidos assuntos importantes, os tolos não têm nada a dizer.
Alta está para el insensato la sabiduría: en la puerta no abrirá él su boca.
Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

Aquele que planeja o mal contra os outros será conhecido como criador de problemas.
Al que piensa mal hacer le llamarán hombre de malos pensamientos.
He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
One who plots to do evil will be called a schemer.
Os planos malvados do insensato são pecados, e quem vive zombando de tudo e de todos é odiado pela sociedade.
El pensamiento del necio es pecado: y abominación á los hombres el escarnecedor.
The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
The schemes of folly are sin. The mocker is detested by men.
Se você fica desesperado quando tem que enfrentar muitos problemas, sua força será limitada.
Si fueres flojo en el día de trabajo, tu fuerza será reducida.
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
If you falter in the time of trouble, your strength is small.
Liberte as pessoas que estão sendo levadas à morte; socorra os que caminham tropeçando para o lugar onde serão mortos.
Si dejares de librar los que son tomados para la muerte, y los que son llevados al degolladero;
If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter!
Não fuja da responsabilidade, dizendo: “Não sabia o que estava acontecendo!” Deus conhece os seus pensamentos; ele sabe muito bem o que se passa no seu coração e dará a cada um a recompensa merecida pelos seus atos.
Si dijeres: Ciertamente no lo supimos; ¿no lo entenderá el que pesa los corazones? El que mira por tu alma, él lo conocerá, y dará al hombre según sus obras.
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
If you say, “Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not give to every man according to his work?
Meu filho, coma mel porque você sabe como o mel é gostoso e faz bem ao seu corpo.
Come, hijo mío, de la miel, porque es buena, y del panal dulce á tu paladar:
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
My son, eat honey, for it is good, the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;
Saiba que a sabedoria é para a alma o que o mel é para o corpo; se você se tornar um sábio, terá um futuro brilhante e realizará todos os seus sonhos.
Tal será el conocimiento de la sabiduría á tu alma: si la hallares tendrá recompensa, y al fin tu esperanza no será cortada.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
so you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.
Você, homem perverso, não tente destruir o justo à traição! Não pense em destruir a sua casa,
Oh impío, no aceches la tienda del justo, no saquees su cámara;
Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
Don’t lay in wait, wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Don’t destroy his resting place;
porque ainda que o justo caia sete vezes, ele sempre terá forças para começar novamente a vida. Mas os perversos serão arrastados pela calamidade.
Porque siete veces cae el justo, y se torna á levantar; mas los impíos caerán en el mal.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Você, homem justo, não fique alegre quando o perverso for castigado por Deus, nem vibre quando ele tropeçar,
Cuando cayere tu enemigo, no te huelgues; y cuando tropezare, no se alegre tu corazón:
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,
para que o Senhor não fique sabendo e se desagrade, e desvie dele a sua ira.
Porque Jehová no lo mire, y le desagrade, y aparte de sobre él su enojo.
Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Não fique preocupado com o sucesso dos maus, nem inveje as riquezas dos perversos,
No te entrometas con los malignos, ni tengas envidia de los impíos;
Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;
porque para eles o futuro é negro e sem esperança.
Porque para el malo no habrá buen fin, y la candela de los impíos será apagada.
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
for there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.
Meu filho, tema o Senhor e o rei; nunca faça parte de grupos revoltosos,
Teme á Jehová, hijo mío, y al rey; no te entrometas con los veleidosos:
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
My son, fear the LORD and the king. Don’t join those who are rebellious,
porque eles serão destruídos repentinamente. Você faz ideia da destruição que Deus e o rei podem causar?
Porque su quebrantamiento se levantará de repente; y el quebrantamiento de ambos, ¿quién lo comprende?
For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
for their calamity will rise suddenly. Who knows what destruction may come from them both?
Aqui estão alguns outros provérbios, escritos pelos sábios: É errado tomar partido quando se julga um caso, seja em favor do pobre ou do rico.
También estas cosas pertenecen á los sabios. Tener respeto á personas en el juicio no es bueno.
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.
Quem diz ao perverso: “Você está livre porque é inocente!” será amaldiçoado e desprezado por muitos povos.
El que dijere al malo, Justo eres, los pueblos lo maldecirán, y le detestarán las naciones:
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—
Mas o juiz honesto, que condena o perverso conforme a justiça, será amado pelo povo e abençoado por Deus.
Mas los que lo reprenden, serán agradables, y sobre ellos vendrá bendición de bien.
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.
Você quer mostrar amor e consideração por alguém? Responda sempre a verdade com delicadeza.
Besados serán los labios del que responde palabras rectas.
Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
Cuide primeiro de seus negócios, defina sua situação financeira e depois comece a construir sua casa e formar sua família.
Apresta tu obra de afuera, y disponla en tu heredad; y después edificarás tu casa.
Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.
Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house.
Não prejudique seu próximo sem motivo, contando mentiras sobre ele.
No seas sin causa testigo contra tu prójimo; y no lisonjees con tus labios.
Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
Don’t be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don’t deceive with your lips.
Não pense consigo mesmo: “Agora vou me vingar de tudo que ele fez de errado comigo”.
No digas: Como me hizo, así le haré; daré el pago al hombre según su obra.
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
Don’t say, “I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work.”
Passei pelo sítio do preguiçoso, pela vinha do homem sem juízo,
Pasé junto á la heredad del hombre perezoso, y junto á la viña del hombre falto de entendimiento;
I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
I went by the field of the sluggard, by the vineyard of the man void of understanding.
e vi que tudo estava coberto de mato e espinheiros. Havia ervas daninhas por toda parte, e o muro de pedras estava em ruínas.
Y he aquí que por toda ella habían ya crecido espinas, ortigas habían ya cubierto su haz, y su cerca de piedra estaba ya destruída.
And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.
Vi aquilo tudo, pensei um pouco e aprendi esta lição:
Y yo miré, y púselo en mi corazón: vilo, y tomé consejo.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

“Para quem sempre dorme um pouco mais, para quem sempre quer tirar uma soneca, para quem só pensa em cruzar os braços e descansar e ficar à toa,
Un poco de sueño, cabeceando otro poco, poniendo mano sobre mano otro poco para dormir;
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep,
a pobreza chegará de repente, como um ladrão, e a fome atacará de surpresa, como um ladrão armado”.
Así vendrá como caminante tu necesidad, y tu pobreza como hombre de escudo.
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.
