Proverbios 26

Le feu s'active, s'il y a beaucoup de bois ; où il n'y a point de contradicteur, les querelles s'apaisent.

Sin leña se apaga el fuego: y donde no hay chismoso, cesa la contienda.

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

For lack of wood a fire goes out. Without gossip, a quarrel dies down.
