Wie wenn man einen Stein an einer Schleuder festbindet, so (sinnlos) ist es, wenn man einem Toren Ehre erweist. –

Como quien liga la piedra en la honda, así hace el que al necio da honra.

As he that bindeth a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.

As one who binds a stone in a sling, so is he who gives honor to a fool.
