Proverbios 28
Bible Darby
1Le méchant se sauve quand personne ne le poursuit, mais les justes sont pleins d’assurance comme un jeune lion.
2À cause de l’iniquité d’un pays, ses princes sont nombreux ; mais, par un homme intelligent qui a de la connaissance, la stabilité se prolonge.
3L’homme pauvre qui opprime les misérables est une pluie violente qui [ne laisse] point de pain.
4Ceux qui abandonnent la loi louent les méchants, mais ceux qui gardent la loi leur font la guerre.
5Les hommes adonnés au mal ne comprennent pas le juste jugement, mais ceux qui cherchent l’Éternel comprennent tout.
6Mieux vaut le pauvre qui marche dans son intégrité, que l’homme pervers dans ses doubles voies, bien qu’il soit riche.
7Qui garde la loi est un fils intelligent ; mais le compagnon des débauchés fait honte à son père.
8Celui qui augmente son bien par l’intérêt et l’usure, l’amasse pour celui qui est bon pour les misérables.
9Qui détourne son oreille pour ne pas écouter la loi, sa prière même est une abomination.
10Celui qui égare les hommes droits sur un mauvais chemin tombera lui-même dans la fosse qu’il aura creusée ; mais les hommes intègres hériteront le bien.
11L’homme riche est sage à ses yeux, mais le pauvre qui est intelligent le sonde.
12Quand les justes se réjouissent il y a beaucoup de gloire ; mais quand les méchants se lèvent, les hommes se cachent.
13Celui qui cache ses transgressions ne prospérera point, mais celui qui les confesse et les abandonne obtiendra miséricorde.
14Bienheureux l’homme qui craint continuellement ; mais celui qui endurcit son cœur tombera dans le malheur.
15Un lion rugissant et un ours à la poursuite de sa proie, c’est le dominateur méchant d’un peuple pauvre.
16Le prince privé d’intelligence opprime beaucoup, [mais] celui qui hait le gain déshonnête prolongera [ses] jours.
17L’homme chargé du sang d’une âme fuira jusqu’à la fosse,… qu’on ne le retienne pas !
18Qui marche dans l’intégrité sera sauvé, mais qui suit tortueusement deux voies tombera une fois pour toutes.
19Qui laboure sa terre sera rassasié de pain, mais qui court après les fainéants sera rassasié de pauvreté.
20L’homme fidèle abonde en bénédictions, mais celui qui a hâte de s’enrichir ne demeurera pas innocent.
21Faire acception des personnes n’est pas bien ; même pour un morceau de pain un homme commettra une transgression.
22L’homme qui a l’œil mauvais se hâte pour avoir des richesses, et il ne sait pas que la disette viendra sur lui.
23Celui qui reprend un homme trouvera la faveur dans la suite, plutôt que celui qui flatte de la langue.
24Qui dépouille son père et sa mère, et dit : Ce n’est point une transgression, celui-là est compagnon du destructeur.
25Celui qui a l’âme altière excite la querelle ; mais qui se confie en l’Éternel sera engraissé.
26Qui se confie en son propre cœur est un sot ; mais qui marche dans la sagesse, celui-là sera délivré.
27Qui donne au pauvre ne manquera de rien, mais qui détourne les yeux sera comblé de malédictions.
28Quand les méchants se lèvent, les hommes se cachent ; mais quand ils périssent, les justes se multiplient.

1HUYE el impío sin que nadie lo persiga: mas el justo está confiado como un leoncillo.
2Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos: mas por el hombre entendido y sabio permanecerá sin mutación.
3El hombre pobre y robador de los pobres, es lluvia de avenida y sin pan.
4Los que dejan la ley, alaban á los impíos: mas los que la guardan, contenderán con ellos.
5Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio: mas los que buscan á Jehová, entienden todas las cosas.
6Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad, que el de perversos caminos, y rico.
7El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente: mas el que es compañero de glotones, avergüenza á su padre.
8El que aumenta sus riquezas con usura y crecido interés, para que se dé á los pobres lo allega.
9El que aparta su oído para no oir la ley, su oración también es abominable.
10El que hace errar á los rectos por el mal camino, él caerá en su misma sima: mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
11El hombre rico es sabio en su opinión: mas el pobre entendido lo examinará.
12Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria; mas cuando los impíos son levantados, es buscado el hombre.
13El que encubre sus pecados, no prosperará: mas el que los confiesa y se aparta, alcanzará misericordia.
14Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre está temeroso: mas el que endurece su corazón, caerá en mal.
15León rugiente y oso hambriento, es el príncipe impío sobre el pueblo pobre.
16El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará los agravios: mas el que aborrece la avaricia, prolongará sus días.
17El hombre que hace violencia con sangre de persona, huirá hasta el sepulcro, y nadie le detendrá.
18El que en integridad camina, será salvo; mas el de perversos caminos caerá en alguno.
19El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: mas el que sigue los ociosos, se hartará de pobreza.
20El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones: mas el que se apresura á enriquecer, no será sin culpa.
21Tener acepción de personas, no es bueno: hasta por un bocado de pan prevaricará el hombre.
22Apresúrase á ser rico el hombre de mal ojo; y no conoce que le ha de venir pobreza.
23El que reprende al hombre, hallará después mayor gracia que el que lisonjea con la lengua.
24El que roba á su padre ó á su madre, y dice que no es maldad, compañero es del hombre destruidor.
25El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas: mas el que en Jehová confía, medrará.
26El que confía en su corazón es necio; mas el que camina en sabiduría, será salvo.
27El que da al pobre, no tendrá pobreza: mas el que aparta sus ojos, tendrá muchas maldiciones.
28Cuando los impíos son levantados, esconderáse el hombre: mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.

1The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
11The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
12When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
14Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
15As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
16The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
17A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
19He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
20A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
21To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
22He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

2In rebellion, a land has many rulers, but order is maintained by a man of understanding and knowledge.

13He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
14Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.
15As a roaring lion or a charging bear, so is a wicked ruler over helpless people.
16A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill-gotten gain will have long days.
17A man who is tormented by blood guilt will be a fugitive until death. No one will support him.
18Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.
19One who works his land will have an abundance of food; but one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
20A faithful man is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.
21To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread.
22A stingy man hurries after riches, and doesn’t know that poverty waits for him.
23One who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor than one who flatters with the tongue.
24Whoever robs his father or his mother and says, “It’s not wrong,” is a partner with a destroyer.
25One who is greedy stirs up strife; but one who trusts in the LORD will prosper.
26One who trusts in himself is a fool; but one who walks in wisdom is kept safe.
27One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.
28When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous thrive.
