Proverbios 28
Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Huye el impío sin que nadie lo persiga, Pero como león está confiado el justo.
2Por la rebelión de la tierra sus jefes son muchos, Pero por el hombre entendido y sabio permanece estable.
3El hombre pobre que explota a los indigentes Es como lluvia torrencial que no deja pan.
4Los que abandonan la Ley alaban al impío. Los que la guardan contienden con ellos.
5Los perversos no entienden la justicia, Pero el que busca a Yavé lo entiende todo.
6Mejor es el pobre que anda en su integridad, Que rico de caminos torcidos.
7El que observa la Ley es hijo inteligente, El que se reúne con glotones avergüenza a su padre.
8El que aumenta su fortuna con interés y usura Acumula para el que se compadece de los pobres.
9Al que aparta su oído para no oír la Ley, Aun su oración es una repugnancia.
10El que extravía al recto por el mal camino Caerá en su propia fosa, Pero los íntegros heredarán el bien.
11El hombre rico es sabio en su propia opinión, Pero el entendido pobre lo escudriña.
12Cuando triunfa el justo hay gran esplendor, Cuando se yerguen los impíos, los hombres se esconden.
13El que encubre sus pecados no prosperará, Pero el que los confiesa y se aparta alcanzará misericordia.
14¡Inmensamente feliz es el hombre que teme siempre! Pero el que endurece su corazón caerá en la desgracia.
15León rugiente y oso hambriento, Es el gobernante impío sobre un pueblo pobre.
16El gobernante falto de entendimiento aumenta la extorsión, Pero el que aborrece la avaricia alargará sus días.
17El hombre culpable de homicidio hacia la fosa huye. ¡Nadie lo detenga!
18El que anda en integridad será librado, Pero el que oscila entre dos caminos caerá de repente.
19El que labra su tierra se saciará de pan, Pero el que persigue vanidades se hartará de pobreza.
20El hombre leal tendrá muchas bendiciones, Pero el que se apresura a enriquecerse no quedará impune.
21Hacer acepción de personas no es bueno, Pero, ¡hasta por un bocado de pan puede transgredir un hombre!
22El hombre de mirada desleal se afana por enriquecer, Y no sabe que lo alcanzará la miseria.
23El que reprende al hombre hallará mayor gracia Que el de boca lisonjera.
24El que roba a padre o madre y dice que no es pecado, Es compañero del destructor.
25El arrogante suscita contiendas, Pero el que confía en Yavé prosperará.
26El que confía en su propio corazón es un necio, Pero el que anda en sabiduría será librado.
27El que da al pobre no tendrá necesidad, Pero el que aparta de él sus ojos tendrá muchas maldiciones.
28Cuando se levantan los perversos, los hombres se esconden, Pero cuando perecen, aumentan los justos.

1HUYE el impío sin que nadie lo persiga: mas el justo está confiado como un leoncillo.
2Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos: mas por el hombre entendido y sabio permanecerá sin mutación.
3El hombre pobre y robador de los pobres, es lluvia de avenida y sin pan.
4Los que dejan la ley, alaban á los impíos: mas los que la guardan, contenderán con ellos.
5Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio: mas los que buscan á Jehová, entienden todas las cosas.
6Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad, que el de perversos caminos, y rico.
7El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente: mas el que es compañero de glotones, avergüenza á su padre.
8El que aumenta sus riquezas con usura y crecido interés, para que se dé á los pobres lo allega.
9El que aparta su oído para no oir la ley, su oración también es abominable.
10El que hace errar á los rectos por el mal camino, él caerá en su misma sima: mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
11El hombre rico es sabio en su opinión: mas el pobre entendido lo examinará.
12Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria; mas cuando los impíos son levantados, es buscado el hombre.
13El que encubre sus pecados, no prosperará: mas el que los confiesa y se aparta, alcanzará misericordia.
14Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre está temeroso: mas el que endurece su corazón, caerá en mal.
15León rugiente y oso hambriento, es el príncipe impío sobre el pueblo pobre.
16El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará los agravios: mas el que aborrece la avaricia, prolongará sus días.
17El hombre que hace violencia con sangre de persona, huirá hasta el sepulcro, y nadie le detendrá.
18El que en integridad camina, será salvo; mas el de perversos caminos caerá en alguno.
19El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: mas el que sigue los ociosos, se hartará de pobreza.
20El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones: mas el que se apresura á enriquecer, no será sin culpa.
21Tener acepción de personas, no es bueno: hasta por un bocado de pan prevaricará el hombre.
22Apresúrase á ser rico el hombre de mal ojo; y no conoce que le ha de venir pobreza.
23El que reprende al hombre, hallará después mayor gracia que el que lisonjea con la lengua.
24El que roba á su padre ó á su madre, y dice que no es maldad, compañero es del hombre destruidor.
25El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas: mas el que en Jehová confía, medrará.
26El que confía en su corazón es necio; mas el que camina en sabiduría, será salvo.
27El que da al pobre, no tendrá pobreza: mas el que aparta sus ojos, tendrá muchas maldiciones.
28Cuando los impíos son levantados, esconderáse el hombre: mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.

1The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
11The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
12When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
14Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
15As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
16The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
17A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
19He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

21To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
22He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

7Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; but he who is a companion of gluttons shames his father.
8He who increases his wealth by excessive interest gathers it for one who has pity on the poor.
9He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
10Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he will fall into his own trap; but the blameless will inherit good.
11The rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor who has understanding sees through him.
12When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.
13He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
14Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.
15As a roaring lion or a charging bear, so is a wicked ruler over helpless people.
16A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill-gotten gain will have long days.
17A man who is tormented by blood guilt will be a fugitive until death. No one will support him.
18Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.
19One who works his land will have an abundance of food; but one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
20A faithful man is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.
21To show partiality is not good, yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread.
22A stingy man hurries after riches, and doesn’t know that poverty waits for him.
23One who rebukes a man will afterward find more favor than one who flatters with the tongue.
24Whoever robs his father or his mother and says, “It’s not wrong,” is a partner with a destroyer.
25One who is greedy stirs up strife; but one who trusts in the LORD will prosper.
26One who trusts in himself is a fool; but one who walks in wisdom is kept safe.
27One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.
