Mon fils, si tu reçois mes paroles, et que tu mettes en réserve par-devers toi mes commandements ;
HIJO mío, si tomares mis palabras, y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,
Tellement que tu rendes ton oreille attentive à la sagesse, et que tu inclines ton coeur à l’intelligence ;
Haciendo estar atento tu oído á la sabiduría; si inclinares tu corazón á la prudencia;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
Si tu appelles à toi la prudence, et que tu adresses ta voix à l’intelligence ;
Si clamares á la inteligencia, y á la prudencia dieres tu voz;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;
Si tu la cherches comme de l’argent, et si tu la recherches soigneusement comme des trésors ;
Si como á la plata la buscares, y la escudriñares como á tesoros;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;
Alors tu connaîtras la crainte de l’Eternel, et tu trouveras la connaissance de Dieu.
Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová, y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Car l’Eternel donne la sagesse ; et de sa bouche procède la connaissance et l’intelligence.
Porque Jehová da la sabiduría, y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Il réserve pour ceux qui sont droits un état permanent, et il est le bouclier de ceux qui marchent dans l’intégrité ;
El provee de sólida sabiduría á los rectos: es escudo á los que caminan rectamente.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
Pour garder les sentiers de jugement ; tellement qu’ il gardera la voie de ses bien-aimés.
Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio, y preserva el camino de sus santos.
He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.
Alors tu entendras la justice, et le jugement, et l’équité, et tout bon chemin.
Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio, y equidad, y todo buen camino.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.
Si la sagesse vient en ton coeur, et si la connaissance est agréable à ton âme ;
Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón, y la ciencia fuere dulce á tu alma,
When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
La prudence te conservera, et l’intelligence te gardera ;
El consejo te guardará, te preservará la inteligencia:
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you,
Pour te délivrer du mauvais chemin, et de l’homme prononçant de mauvais discours.
Para librarte del mal camino, de los hombres que hablan perversidades;
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,
De ceux qui laissent les chemins de la droiture pour marcher par les voies de ténèbres ;
Que dejan las veredas derechas, por andar en caminos tenebrosos;
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,
Qui se réjouissent à mal faire, et s’égayent dans les renversements que fait le méchant.
Que se alegran haciendo mal, que se huelgan en las perversidades del vicio;
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of evil,
Desquels les chemins sont tortus, et qui vont de travers en leur train.
Cuyas veredas son torcidas, y torcidos sus caminos.
Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
who are crooked in their ways, and wayward in their paths,
Et afin qu’il te délivre de la femme étrangère, et de la femme d’autrui, dont les paroles sont flatteuses ;
Para librarte de la mujer extraña, de la ajena que halaga con sus palabras;
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
to deliver you from the strange woman, even from the foreigner who flatters with her words,
Qui abandonne le conducteur de sa jeunesse, et qui a oublié l’alliance de son Dieu.
Que desampara el príncipe de su mocedad, y se olvida del pacto de su Dios.
Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
who forsakes the friend of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God;
Car sa maison penche vers la mort, et son chemin mène vers les trépassés.
Por lo cual su casa está inclinada á la muerte, y sus veredas hacia los muertos:
For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
for her house leads down to death, her paths to the departed spirits.
Pas un de ceux qui vont vers elle, n’en retourne, ni ne reprend les sentiers de la vie.
Todos los que á ella entraren, no volverán, ni tomarán las veredas de la vida.
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
None who go to her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life.
Afin aussi que tu marches dans la voie des gens de bien, et que tu gardes les sentiers des justes.
Para que andes por el camino de los buenos, y guardes las veredas de los justos.
That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Therefore walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Car ceux qui sont justes habiteront en la terre, et les hommes intègres demeureront de reste en elle.
Porque los rectos habitarán la tierra, y los perfectos permanecerán en ella;
For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
For the upright will dwell in the land. The perfect will remain in it.
Mais les méchants seront retranchés de la terre, et ceux qui agissent perfidement en seront arrachés.
Mas los impíos serán cortados de la tierra, y los prevaricadores serán de ella desarraigados.
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
But the wicked will be cut off from the land. The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
