Proverbios 2

Mein Sohn, wenn du meine Lehren annimmst und meine Weisungen bei dir verwahrst,

HIJO mío, si tomares mis palabras, y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,

indem du dein Ohr auf Weisheit lauschen läßt und dein Herz der Einsicht zuwendest,

Haciendo estar atento tu oído á la sabiduría; si inclinares tu corazón á la prudencia;

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;

ja, wenn du nach der Verständigkeit rufst und deine Stimme laut nach der Einsicht erschallen läßt,

Si clamares á la inteligencia, y á la prudencia dieres tu voz;

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;

wenn du nach ihr suchst wie nach Silber und ihr nachspürst wie verborgenen Schätzen:

Si como á la plata la buscares, y la escudriñares como á tesoros;

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;

dann wirst du die Furcht vor dem HERRN verstehen lernen und die Erkenntnis Gottes gewinnen –

Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová, y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

denn der HERR ist’s, der Weisheit verleiht: aus seinem Munde kommt Erkenntnis und Einsicht;

Porque Jehová da la sabiduría, y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

er hält für die Rechtschaffenen Glück in Bereitschaft und ist ein Schild für die, welche unsträflich wandeln,

El provee de sólida sabiduría á los rectos: es escudo á los que caminan rectamente.

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,

indem er die Pfade des Rechts behütet und über dem Ergehen seiner Frommen wacht –;

Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio, y preserva el camino de sus santos.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.

dann wirst du Verständnis gewinnen für Gerechtigkeit und Recht, für Rechtschaffenheit (und überhaupt) für jegliche Bahn des Guten.

Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio, y equidad, y todo buen camino.

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

Denn Weisheit wird in dein Herz einziehen und Erkenntnis deiner Seele erfreulich sein;

Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón, y la ciencia fuere dulce á tu alma,

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

Besonnenheit wird über dich wachen und Einsicht dich behüten,

El consejo te guardará, te preservará la inteligencia:

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you,

indem sie dich vor dem Wege der Bösen bewahrt, vor den Menschen, die Verkehrtes reden,

Para librarte del mal camino, de los hombres que hablan perversidades;

To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,

vor denen, welche die geraden Pfade verlassen, um auf den Wegen der Finsternis zu wandeln;

Que dejan las veredas derechas, por andar en caminos tenebrosos;

Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,

die ihre Freude daran haben, Böses zu verüben, und über boshafte Verkehrtheit frohlocken;

Que se alegran haciendo mal, que se huelgan en las perversidades del vicio;

Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of evil,

deren Pfade krumm sind und die in ihren Bahnen auf Abwege geraten –;

Cuyas veredas son torcidas, y torcidos sus caminos.

Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

who are crooked in their ways, and wayward in their paths,

indem sie dich vom Eheweibe eines anderen fernhält, von der fremden Frau, die glatte Reden führt,

Para librarte de la mujer extraña, de la ajena que halaga con sus palabras;

To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;

to deliver you from the strange woman, even from the foreigner who flatters with her words,

die den trauten Freund ihrer Jugend verlassen und den vor ihrem Gott geschlossenen Ehebund vergessen hat;

Que desampara el príncipe de su mocedad, y se olvida del pacto de su Dios.

Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

who forsakes the friend of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God;

denn zum Tode sinkt ihr Pfad hinab, und zum Schattenreich (führen) ihre Bahnen;

Por lo cual su casa está inclinada á la muerte, y sus veredas hacia los muertos:

For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

for her house leads down to death, her paths to the departed spirits.

keiner von denen, die zu ihr eingehen, kehrt zurück, und keiner erreicht die Pfade des Lebens –;

Todos los que á ella entraren, no volverán, ni tomarán las veredas de la vida.

None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

None who go to her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life.

damit du auf dem Wege der Guten wandelst und die Pfade der Gerechten einhältst.

Para que andes por el camino de los buenos, y guardes las veredas de los justos.

That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Therefore walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Denn die Rechtschaffenen werden das Land bewohnen und die Unsträflichen darin übrigbleiben;

Porque los rectos habitarán la tierra, y los perfectos permanecerán en ella;

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

For the upright will dwell in the land. The perfect will remain in it.

die Gottlosen aber werden aus dem Lande ausgerottet und die Treulosen aus ihm entwurzelt.

Mas los impíos serán cortados de la tierra, y los prevaricadores serán de ella desarraigados.

But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

But the wicked will be cut off from the land. The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
