Meu filho, se você tomar posse das minhas palavras e guardar os meus mandamentos em seu coração,
HIJO mío, si tomares mis palabras, y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,
terá ouvidos capazes de perceber a verdadeira sabedoria e um coração pronto a receber o discernimento.
Haciendo estar atento tu oído á la sabiduría; si inclinares tu corazón á la prudencia;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
Se você clamar por entendimento e discernimento,
Si clamares á la inteligencia, y á la prudencia dieres tu voz;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;
se procurar a sabedoria como se procura a prata e buscá-la como quem busca um tesouro escondido,
Si como á la plata la buscares, y la escudriñares como á tesoros;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;
então você certamente entenderá o que significa temer o Senhor e achará o conhecimento de Deus.
Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová, y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Pois é o Senhor quem dá a sabedoria; de sua boca vêm a compreensão e o discernimento.
Porque Jehová da la sabiduría, y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Tudo isso ele reserva a quem o ama e obedece. Ele é um escudo que protege aquele que anda com integridade.
El provee de sólida sabiduría á los rectos: es escudo á los que caminan rectamente.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
Ele separou o caminho da sabedoria para os justos; ele mesmo protege e guarda o caminho dos seus fiéis.
Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio, y preserva el camino de sus santos.
He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.
Então você entenderá o que é justo, direito e honesto, e saberá tomar as decisões certas.
Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio, y equidad, y todo buen camino.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.
Porque a sabedoria estará no seu coração e o conhecimento será prazeroso para a sua alma.
Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón, y la ciencia fuere dulce á tu alma,
When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
O bom senso o guardará e o discernimento o protegerá de tomar decisões erradas;
El consejo te guardará, te preservará la inteligencia:
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you,
eles não deixarão que você ande pelo caminho dos maus, ou viva junto dos homens de palavras perversas,
Para librarte del mal camino, de los hombres que hablan perversidades;
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,
que se afastam dos caminhos da justiça para andarem pelos escuros caminhos das trevas,
Que dejan las veredas derechas, por andar en caminos tenebrosos;
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,
que têm prazer em praticar o mal e se alegram com a maldade dos perversos,
Que se alegran haciendo mal, que se huelgan en las perversidades del vicio;
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of evil,
que andam por caminhos tortuosos e se desviam da verdade.
Cuyas veredas son torcidas, y torcidos sus caminos.
Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
who are crooked in their ways, and wayward in their paths,
A sabedoria também o livrará das palavras doces e mentirosas da mulher imoral, da pervertida,
Para librarte de la mujer extraña, de la ajena que halaga con sus palabras;
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
to deliver you from the strange woman, even from the foreigner who flatters with her words,
da mulher que abandona aquele que desde a mocidade foi seu companheiro e ignora o compromisso assumido perante Deus.
Que desampara el príncipe de su mocedad, y se olvida del pacto de su Dios.
Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
who forsakes the friend of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God;
Quem frequenta a casa dessa mulher põe em risco a própria vida; quem anda com ela se dirige para o reino dos mortos.
Por lo cual su casa está inclinada á la muerte, y sus veredas hacia los muertos:
For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
for her house leads down to death, her paths to the departed spirits.
Os homens que se envolvem com ela entram num caminho do qual não há volta; não conseguem voltar para o caminho da vida.
Todos los que á ella entraren, no volverán, ni tomarán las veredas de la vida.
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
None who go to her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life.
A sabedoria fará você andar pelo caminho certo e manter-se nos caminhos dos justos.
Para que andes por el camino de los buenos, y guardes las veredas de los justos.
That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Therefore walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Pois os justos habitarão na terra, e os íntegros permanecerão nela;
Porque los rectos habitarán la tierra, y los perfectos permanecerán en ella;
For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
For the upright will dwell in the land. The perfect will remain in it.
mas os homens maus serão eliminados da terra, e os infiéis serão arrancados dela.
Mas los impíos serán cortados de la tierra, y los prevaricadores serán de ella desarraigados.
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
But the wicked will be cut off from the land. The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
