Certainly I am more stupid than a man, and the understanding of humankind is not for me.
Ciertamente más rudo soy yo que ninguno, ni tengo entendimiento de hombre.
Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
“Surely I am the most ignorant man, and don’t have a man’s understanding.
And I have not learned wisdom, nor will I know knowledge of the Holy One.
Yo ni aprendí sabiduría, ni conozco la ciencia del Santo.
I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.

Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of his hand? Who has wrapped water in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name and what is the name of his child? For surely you know.
¿Quién subió al cielo, y descendió? ¿quién encerró los vientos en sus puños? ¿quién ató las aguas en un paño? ¿quién afirmó todos los términos de la tierra? ¿cuál es su nombre, y el nombre de su hijo, si sabes?

Keep falsehood and a ⌞lying word⌟ far from me; do not give me poverty or wealth; provide me with food only for my need.
Vanidad y palabra mentirosa aparta de mí. No me des pobreza ni riquezas; manténme del pan que he menester;
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food that is needful for me,
Or else I will be satisfied and will deny him and say “Who is Yahweh?” Or I will be poor and will steal and profane the name of my God.
No sea que me harte, y te niegue, y diga, ¿Quién es Jehová? ó no sea que siendo pobre, hurte, y blasfeme el nombre de mi Dios.

There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, but from its filthiness it will not be cleansed.

The eye that mocks a father and scorns the obedience of a mother— the ravens of the valley will peck it out, and the offspring of vultures will eat it.
El ojo que escarnece á su padre, y menosprecia la enseñanza de la madre, los cuervos lo saquen de la arroyada, y tráguenlo los hijos del águila.
The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

under an unloved woman when she gets married, and a maid when she succeeds her mistress.

The ants are a people who are not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer;
Las hormigas, pueblo no fuerte, y en el verano preparan su comida;

The ants are not a strong people, yet they provide their food in the summer.
the badgers are a people who are not mighty, yet they set their house on the rock;
Los conejos, pueblo nada esforzado, y ponen su casa en la piedra;
The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
The hyraxes are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks.
there is no king for the locust, yet it marches in rank;
Las langostas, no tienen rey, y salen todas acuadrilladas;
The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

a lizard you can seize with hands, yet it is in palaces of kings.
La araña, ase con las manos, y está en palacios de rey.

There are three things that are magnificent of stride, and four that are magnificent when moving:

a mighty lion among the beasts, but he will not turn back from ⌞any face⌟;
El león, fuerte entre todos los animales, que no torna atrás por nadie;
A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
The lion, which is mightiest among animals, and doesn’t turn away for any;
a strutting rooster or he-goat, and a king whose army is with him.

For pressing milk produces curd, and pressing the nose produces blood, so pressing ⌞anger⌟ produces strife.
Ciertamente el que exprime la leche, sacará manteca; y el que recio se suena las narices, sacará sangre: y el que provoca la ira, causará contienda.
Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.
For as the churning of milk produces butter, and the wringing of the nose produces blood, so the forcing of wrath produces strife.”
