Proverbios 3

Perciocchè il Signore gastiga chi egli ama; Anzi come un padre il figliuolo ch'egli gradisce.

Porque al que ama castiga, como el padre al hijo á quien quiere.

For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

for whom the LORD loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.
