Proverbios 3

Mein Sohn, vergiß meine Belehrung nicht und laß dein Herz meine Weisungen bewahren;

HIJO mío, no te olvides de mi ley; y tu corazón guarde mis mandamientos:

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,

denn langes Leben und Jahre des Glücks und Wohlergehen werden sie dir in Fülle bringen. –

Porque largura de días, y años de vida y paz te aumentarán.

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.

Liebe und Treue dürfen dich nicht verlassen: binde sie dir um den Hals, schreibe sie auf die Tafel deines Herzens,

Misericordia y verdad no te desamparen; átalas á tu cuello, escríbelas en la tabla de tu corazón:

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.

so wirst du Gunst und Beifall gewinnen bei Gott und den Menschen. –

Y hallarás gracia y buena opinión en los ojos de Dios y de los hombres.

So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Vertraue auf den HERRN mit ganzem Herzen und verlaß dich nicht auf eigene Klugheit;

Fíate de Jehová de todo tu corazón, y no estribes en tu prudencia.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.

denke an ihn auf allen deinen Wegen, so wird er dir die Pfade ebnen. –

Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus veredas.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Halte dich nicht selbst für weise; fürchte den HERRN und halte dich fern vom Bösen:

No seas sabio en tu opinión: teme á Jehová, y apártate del mal;

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

das wird Arznei für deinen Leib sein und Labsal für deine Glieder. –

Porque será medicina á tu ombligo, y tuétano á tus huesos.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.

Ehre den HERRN mit (Gaben von) deinem Vermögen und mit den Erstlingen deines gesamten Feldertrags,

Honra á Jehová de tu sustancia, y de las primicias de todos tus frutos;

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

Honor the LORD with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase;

so werden deine Scheunen mit Überfluß sich füllen und deine Kufen von Most überfließen. –

Y serán llenas tus trojes con abundancia, y tus lagares rebosarán de mosto.

So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Mein Sohn, verschmähe nicht die Zucht des HERRN und sei nicht unwillig über seine Strafe;

No deseches, hijo mío, el castigo de Jehová; ni te fatigues de su corrección:

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

My son, don’t despise the LORD’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;

denn wen der HERR lieb hat, den züchtigt er, und zwar wie ein Vater den Sohn, mit dem er’s gut meint.

Porque al que ama castiga, como el padre al hijo á quien quiere.

For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

for whom the LORD loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

Wohl dem Menschen, der Weisheit erlangt hat, und wohl dem Manne, der Einsicht gewinnt!

Bienaventurado el hombre que halla la sabiduría, y que obtiene la inteligencia:

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.

Denn besser ist ihr Erwerb als der von Silber, und ihr Besitz ist mehr wert als Gold;

Porque su mercadería es mejor que la mercadería de la plata, y sus frutos más que el oro fino.

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.

kostbarer ist sie als Perlen, und alle Kleinodien kommen ihr nicht gleich.

Más preciosa es que las piedras preciosas; y todo lo que puedes desear, no se puede comparar á ella.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Langes Leben liegt in ihrer Rechten, in ihrer Linken Reichtum und Ehre.

Largura de días está en su mano derecha; en su izquierda riquezas y honra.

Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Ihre Wege sind beglückende Wege, und alle ihre Pfade sind Wohlergehen.

Sus caminos son caminos deleitosos, y todas sus veredas paz.

Ein Baum des Lebens ist sie denen, die sie ergriffen haben, und wer sie festhält, ist glücklich zu preisen. –

Ella es árbol de vida á los que de ella asen: y bienaventurados son los que la mantienen.

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

Der HERR hat durch Weisheit die Erde gegründet und den Himmel durch Einsicht festgestellt;

Jehová con sabiduría fundó la tierra; afirmó los cielos con inteligencia.

The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

durch seine Erkenntnis sind die Fluten der Tiefe (als Quellen) hervorgebrochen, und die Wolken lassen den Tau herabträufeln. –

Con su ciencia se partieron los abismos, y destilan el rocío los cielos.

By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Mein Sohn, laß sie nicht aus deinen Augen entschwinden; halte fest an kluger Überlegung und Besonnenheit:

Hijo mío, no se aparten estas cosas de tus ojos; guarda la ley y el consejo;

My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion,

so werden sie Leben für deine Seele sein und ein schöner Schmuck für deinen Hals;

Y serán vida á tu alma, y gracia á tu cuello.

So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck.

dann wirst du deinen Weg in Sicherheit wandeln und mit deinem Fuß nicht anstoßen.

Entonces andarás por tu camino confiadamente, y tu pie no tropezará.

Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.

Wenn du dich schlafen legst, braucht dir nicht zu grauen; und legst du dich nieder, so wird dein Schlummer süß sein;

Cuando te acostares, no tendrás temor; antes te acostarás, y tu sueño será suave.

When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.

du brauchst dich nicht vor plötzlichem Schrecken zu fürchten, auch nicht vor der Vernichtung der Gottlosen, wenn sie hereinbricht;

No tendrás temor de pavor repentino, ni de la ruina de los impíos cuando viniere:

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;

denn der HERR wird deine Zuversicht sein und deinen Fuß vor dem Fallstrick behüten.

Porque Jehová será tu confianza, y él preservará tu pie de ser preso.

For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.

Versage keinem Bedürftigen eine Wohltat, wenn es in deiner Macht steht, sie zu erweisen.

No detengas el bien de sus dueños, cuando tuvieres poder para hacerlo.

Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

Sage nicht zu deinem Nächsten: »Geh (jetzt) und komm mal wieder!« und »Morgen will ich es dir geben«, während du es doch schon jetzt tun kannst. –

No digas á tu prójimo: Ve, y vuelve, y mañana te daré; cuando tienes contigo qué darle.

Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,” when you have it by you.

Ersinne nichts Böses gegen deinen Nächsten, während er arglos neben dir wohnt. –

No intentes mal contra tu prójimo, estando él confiado de ti.

Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

Don’t devise evil against your neighbor, since he dwells securely by you.

Fange mit keinem Menschen Streit ohne Ursache an, wenn er dir nichts Böses zugefügt hat. –

No pleitees con alguno sin razón, si él no te ha hecho agravio.

Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.

Don’t strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.

Sei nicht neidisch auf gewalttätige Menschen und verstehe dich nicht zu einem von ihren Wegen!

No envidies al hombre injusto, ni escojas alguno de sus caminos.

Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

Don’t envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways.

Denn wer sich auf Abwege begibt, ist dem HERRN ein Greuel, aber mit den Redlichen hält er treue Freundschaft.

Porque el perverso es abominado de Jehová: mas su secreto es con los rectos.

For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

For the perverse is an abomination to the LORD, but his friendship is with the upright.

Der Fluch des HERRN (lastet) auf dem Hause des Gottlosen, aber die Wohnung der Gerechten segnet er;

La maldición de Jehová está en la casa del impío; mas él bendecirá la morada de los justos.

The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

The LORD’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.

für die Spötter wird er selbst ein Spötter, aber den Demütigen gibt er Gnade.

Ciertamente él escarnecerá á los escarnecedores, y á los humildes dará gracia.

Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

Surely he mocks the mockers, but he gives grace to the humble.

Zu Ehren gelangen die Weisen, aber den Toren verschafft die Schande einen Namen.

Los sabios heredarán honra: mas los necios sostendrán ignominia.

The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

The wise will inherit glory, but shame will be the promotion of fools.
