Proverbios 5

aber hernach bitter wie Wermut und scharf wie ein zweischneidig Schwert.

HIJO mío, está atento á mi sabiduría, y á mi inteligencia inclina tu oído;

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Turn your ear to my understanding,

Ihre Füße laufen zum Tod hinunter, ihre Gänge erlangen die Hölle.

Para que guardes consejo, y tus labios conserven la ciencia.

That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

that you may maintain discretion, that your lips may preserve knowledge.

Sie gehet nicht stracks auf dem Wege des Lebens; unstet sind ihre Tritte, daß sie nicht weiß, wo sie gehet.

Porque los labios de la extraña destilan miel, y su paladar es más blando que el aceite:

For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil,

So gehorchet mir nun, meine Kinder, und weichet nicht von der Rede meines Mundes!

Mas su fin es amargo como el ajenjo, agudo como cuchillo de dos filos.

But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword.

Laß deine Wege ferne von ihr sein und nahe nicht zur Tür ihres Hauses,

Sus pies descienden á la muerte; sus pasos sustentan el sepulcro:

Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol.

daß du nicht den Fremden gebest deine Ehre und deine Jahre dem Grausamen,

Sus caminos son instables; no los conocerás, si no considerares el camino de vida.

Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

She gives no thought to the way of life. Her ways are crooked, and she doesn’t know it.

daß sich nicht Fremde von deinem Vermögen sättigen, und deine Arbeit nicht sei in eines andern Haus,

Ahora pues, hijos, oidme, y no os apartéis de las razones de mi boca.

Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

Now therefore, my sons, listen to me. Don’t depart from the words of my mouth.

und müssest hernach seufzen, wenn du dein Leib und Gut verzehret hast,

Aleja de ella tu camino, y no te acerques á la puerta de su casa;

Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

Remove your way far from her. Don’t come near the door of her house,

und sprechen: Ach, wie habe ich die Zucht gehasset, und mein Herz die Strafe verschmähet,

Porque no des á los extraños tu honor, y tus años á cruel;

Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one;

und habe nicht gehorchet der Stimme meiner Lehrer und mein Ohr nicht geneigt zu denen, die mich lehreten!

Porque no se harten los extraños de tu fuerza, y tus trabajos estén en casa del extraño;

Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

lest strangers feast on your wealth, and your labors enrich another man’s house.

Ich bin schier in all Unglück kommen vor allen Leuten und allem Volk.

Y gimas en tus postrimerías, cuando se consumiere tu carne y tu cuerpo,

And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed,

Trinke Wasser aus deiner Grube und Flüsse aus deinem Brunnen.

Y digas: ¡Cómo aborrecí el consejo, y mi corazón menospreció la reprensión;

And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

and say, “How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof.

Laß deine Brunnen herausfließen und die Wasserbäche auf die Gassen.

Y no oí la voz de los que me adoctrinaban, y á los que me enseñaban no incliné mi oído!

And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

I haven’t obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me!

Habe du aber sie alleine und kein Fremder mit dir.

Casi en todo mal he estado, en medio de la sociedad y de la congregación.

I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

I have come to the brink of utter ruin, among the gathered assembly.”

Dein Born sei gesegnet, und freue dich des Weibes deiner Jugend!

Bebe el agua de tu cisterna, y los raudales de tu pozo.

Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

Drink water out of your own cistern, running water out of your own well.

Sie ist lieblich wie eine Hindin und holdselig wie ein Reh. Laß dich ihre Liebe allezeit sättigen, und ergötze dich allewege in ihrer Liebe.

Derrámense por de fuera tus fuentes, en las plazas los ríos de aguas.

Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

Should your springs overflow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares?

Mein Kind, warum willst du dich an der Fremden ergötzen und herzest dich mit einer andern?

Sean para ti solo, y no para los extraños contigo.

Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.

Let them be for yourself alone, not for strangers with you.

Denn jedermanns Wege sind stracks vor dem HERRN, und er misset gleich alle ihre Gänge.

Sea bendito tu manantial; y alégrate con la mujer de tu mocedad.

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Die Missetat des Gottlosen wird ihn fahen, und er wird mit dem Strick seiner Sünde gehalten werden.

Como cierva amada y graciosa corza, sus pechos te satisfagan en todo tiempo; y en su amor recréate siempre.

Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

A loving doe and a graceful deer— let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love.

Er wird sterben, daß er sich nicht will ziehen lassen, und um seiner großen Torheit willen wird's ihm nicht wohlgehen.

¿Y por qué, hijo mío, andarás ciego con la ajena, y abrazarás el seno de la extraña?

And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

For why should you, my son, be captivated with an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of another?

Mein Kind, wirst du Bürge für deinen Nächsten und hast deine Hand bei einem Fremden verhaftet,

Pues que los caminos del hombre están ante los ojos de Jehová, y él considera todas sus veredas.

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

For the ways of man are before the LORD’s eyes. He examines all his paths.

so bist du verknüpft mit der Rede deines Mundes und gefangen mit den Reden deines Mundes.

Prenderán al impío sus propias iniquidades, y detenido será con las cuerdas de su pecado.

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare him. The cords of his sin hold him firmly.

So tu doch, mein Kind, also und errette dich; denn du bist deinem Nächsten in die Hände kommen; eile, dränge und treibe deinen Nächsten!

El morirá por falta de corrección; y errará por la grandeza de su locura.

He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

He will die for lack of instruction. In the greatness of his folly, he will go astray.
