Proverbios 5

Mein Sohn, merke auf meine Weisheit und neige dein Ohr meiner Belehrung zu;

HIJO mío, está atento á mi sabiduría, y á mi inteligencia inclina tu oído;

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Turn your ear to my understanding,

daß du Vorsicht übest und deine Lippen Erkenntnis bewahren.

Para que guardes consejo, y tus labios conserven la ciencia.

That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

that you may maintain discretion, that your lips may preserve knowledge.

Denn von Honig triefen die Lippen der Fremden, und glätter als Öl ist ihr Gaumen;

Porque los labios de la extraña destilan miel, y su paladar es más blando que el aceite:

For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil,

aber zuletzt ist sie bitter wie Wermut, scharf wie ein zweischneidig Schwert;

Mas su fin es amargo como el ajenjo, agudo como cuchillo de dos filos.

But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword.

ihre Füße laufen zum Tod, ihre Schritte streben dem Totenreich zu;

Sus pies descienden á la muerte; sus pasos sustentan el sepulcro:

Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol.

den Pfad des Lebens erwägt sie nicht einmal; sie geht eine unsichere Bahn, die sie selbst nicht kennt.

Sus caminos son instables; no los conocerás, si no considerares el camino de vida.

Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

She gives no thought to the way of life. Her ways are crooked, and she doesn’t know it.

Und nun, ihr Söhne, höret mir zu und weichet nicht von den Reden meines Mundes!

Ahora pues, hijos, oidme, y no os apartéis de las razones de mi boca.

Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

Now therefore, my sons, listen to me. Don’t depart from the words of my mouth.

Bleibe fern von dem Weg, der zu ihr führt, und nähere dich nicht der Tür ihres Hauses!

Aleja de ella tu camino, y no te acerques á la puerta de su casa;

Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

Remove your way far from her. Don’t come near the door of her house,

Daß du nicht Fremden deine Ehre opferst und deine Jahre dem Grausamen;

Porque no des á los extraños tu honor, y tus años á cruel;

Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one;

daß sich nicht Fremde von deinem Vermögen sättigen und du dich nicht abmühen müssest für eines andern Haus,

Porque no se harten los extraños de tu fuerza, y tus trabajos estén en casa del extraño;

Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

lest strangers feast on your wealth, and your labors enrich another man’s house.

also daß, wenn dir dann Leib und Fleisch hinschwindet, du zuletzt seufzen und sagen müssest:

Y gimas en tus postrimerías, cuando se consumiere tu carne y tu cuerpo,

And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed,

Warum habe ich doch die Zucht gehaßt, warum hat mein Herz die Zurechtweisung verachtet?

Y digas: ¡Cómo aborrecí el consejo, y mi corazón menospreció la reprensión;

And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

and say, “How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof.

Ich habe nicht gehört auf die Stimme meiner Lehrer und meinen Lehrmeistern kein Gehör geschenkt!

Y no oí la voz de los que me adoctrinaban, y á los que me enseñaban no incliné mi oído!

And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

I haven’t obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me!

Fast wäre ich gänzlich ins Unglück geraten, inmitten der Versammlung und der Gemeinde!

Casi en todo mal he estado, en medio de la sociedad y de la congregación.

I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

I have come to the brink of utter ruin, among the gathered assembly.”

Trinke Wasser aus deinem Born und Ströme aus deinem Brunnen!

Bebe el agua de tu cisterna, y los raudales de tu pozo.

Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

Drink water out of your own cistern, running water out of your own well.

Sollen deine Quellen sich auf die Straße ergießen, deine Wasserbäche auf die Plätze?

Derrámense por de fuera tus fuentes, en las plazas los ríos de aguas.

Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

Should your springs overflow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares?

Sie sollen dir allein gehören und keinem Fremden neben dir!

Sean para ti solo, y no para los extraños contigo.

Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.

Let them be for yourself alone, not for strangers with you.

Dein Born sei gesegnet, und freue dich des Weibes deiner Jugend!

Sea bendito tu manantial; y alégrate con la mujer de tu mocedad.

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Die liebliche Hindin, die anmutige Gemse, möge dich ihr Busen allezeit ergötzen, mögest du dich an ihrer Liebe stets berauschen!

Como cierva amada y graciosa corza, sus pechos te satisfagan en todo tiempo; y en su amor recréate siempre.

Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

A loving doe and a graceful deer— let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love.

Warum aber, mein Sohn, wolltest du dich an einer andern vergehen und den Busen einer Fremden umarmen?

¿Y por qué, hijo mío, andarás ciego con la ajena, y abrazarás el seno de la extraña?

And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

For why should you, my son, be captivated with an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of another?

Denn eines jeglichen Wege liegen klar vor den Augen des HERRN, und er achtet auf alle seine Pfade!

Pues que los caminos del hombre están ante los ojos de Jehová, y él considera todas sus veredas.

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

For the ways of man are before the LORD’s eyes. He examines all his paths.

Den Gottlosen nehmen seine eigenen Missetaten gefangen, und von den Stricken seiner Sünde wird er festgehalten.

Prenderán al impío sus propias iniquidades, y detenido será con las cuerdas de su pecado.

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare him. The cords of his sin hold him firmly.

Er stirbt an Zuchtlosigkeit, und infolge seiner großen Torheit taumelt er dahin.

El morirá por falta de corrección; y errará por la grandeza de su locura.

He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

He will die for lack of instruction. In the greatness of his folly, he will go astray.
