Proverbios 6

Meu filho, se puseste o teu dinheiro como garantia do empréstimo que o teu próximo pediu, se deste a tua palavra para o empréstimo de alguém que não conheces,

HIJO mío, si salieres fiador por tu amigo, si tocaste tu mano por el extraño,

My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, if you have struck your hands in pledge for a stranger,
