¿NO clama la sabiduría, y da su voz la inteligencia?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

C'est au sommet des hauteurs, sur la route, à la jonction des chemins, qu'elle se place ;
En los altos cabezos, junto al camino, á las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
près des portes, aux abords de la ville, à l'entrée des portes, elle fait entendre sa voix :

She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
« Hommes, c'est à vous que je crie, et ma voix s'adresse aux enfants des hommes.
Oh hombres, á vosotros clamo; y mi voz es á los hijos de los hombres.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
Simples, apprenez la prudence ; insensés, apprenez l'intelligence.
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
Ecoutez, car j'ai à dire des choses magnifiques, et mes lèvres s'ouvrent pour enseigner ce qui est droit.
Oid, porque hablaré cosas excelentes; y abriré mis labios para cosas rectas.
