¿NO clama la sabiduría, y da su voz la inteligencia?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
No topo das colinas, ao lado da estrada, nas encruzilhadas, a sabedoria se posiciona.
En los altos cabezos, junto al camino, á las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
Perto dos portões da entrada da cidade, à entrada dos portões, ela exclama:

She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
"Povo, é a vós que eu clamo; a minha voz é para os filhos dos homens.
Oh hombres, á vosotros clamo; y mi voz es á los hijos de los hombres.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
Vós que sois ingênuos, aprendei a sabedoria; e vós que sois insensatos, acrescentai entendimento à vossa mente.
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
Escutai, porque falarei de coisas nobres e, quando meus lábios se abrirem, direi coisas que são corretas,

pois minha boca fala o que é confiável e meus lábios odeiam a maldade.

Eu estava lá quando Ele fez o limite do mar, de modo que as águas não se espalhassem além de onde Ele as ordenou, e quando Ele pôs o limite dos fundamentos da terra seca.
