¿NO clama la sabiduría, y da su voz la inteligencia?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
convidando a todos, no alto dos montes, nas estradas e encruzilhadas, nas praças e ruas da cidade,
En los altos cabezos, junto al camino, á las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
à porta de cada casa, à entrada da cidade, portas adentro? Ouça bem o que ela diz:
En el lugar de las puertas, á la entrada de la ciudad, á la entrada de las puertas da voces:
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
“Escutem bem, homens, eu clamo; a todos levanto a minha voz.
Oh hombres, á vosotros clamo; y mi voz es á los hijos de los hombres.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
Vocês inexperientes, procurem entender a prudência; vocês tolos, a verdadeira compreensão.
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
Ouçam, porque os meus conselhos são valiosos e muito importantes. E todos eles são verdadeiros e justos.
Oid, porque hablaré cosas excelentes; y abriré mis labios para cosas rectas.

pois a sabedoria vale mais que pedras preciosas; você pode imaginar qualquer tipo de riqueza, mas isso não pode se comparar com o valor da sabedoria.
Porque mejor es la sabiduría que las piedras preciosas; y todas las cosas que se pueden desear, no son de comparar con ella.

Temer o Senhor significa odiar o mal; por isso eu, a sabedoria, odeio o orgulho e a arrogância, o mau caminho e todo o tipo de falar perverso.
El temor de Jehová es aborrecer el mal; la soberbia y la arrogancia, y el mal camino y la boca perversa, aborrezco.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

O conselho e a verdadeira sabedoria me pertencem. Eu possuo o entendimento e a verdadeira força
Conmigo está el consejo y el ser; yo soy la inteligencia; mía es la fortaleza.
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
e é por meu intermédio que os reis governam e os juízes julgam com justiça.
Por mí reinan los reyes, y los príncipes determinan justicia.

quando criou os limites do mar, para que as águas não desobedecessem à sua ordem, quando colocou os alicerces da terra.

Eu estava junto com o Senhor e fui o seu arquiteto! Nós éramos uma constante alegria um para o outro,
Con él estaba yo ordenándolo todo; y fuí su delicia todos los días, teniendo solaz delante de él en todo tiempo.
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Huélgome en la parte habitable de su tierra; y mis delicias son con los hijos de los hombres.

“Por isso, meus filhos, ouçam-me: Felizes são aqueles que guardam os meus caminhos.
Ahora pues, hijos, oidme; y bienaventurados los que guardaren mis caminos.

Ouçam os meus conselhos e serão sábios; não os desprezem!
Atended el consejo, y sed sabios, y no lo menospreciéis.

Quem me ouve e obedece, quem procura viver sempre ao meu lado, esse será muito feliz!
Bienaventurado el hombre que me oye, velando á mis puertas cada día, guardando los umbrales de mis entradas.
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Porque todo aquele que me acha, acha a vida e recebe a aprovação do Senhor.
