En las alturas junto al camino, A las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;

She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.

Oh hombres, a ustedes clamo; Dirijo mi voz a los hijos de los hombres.

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

Entiendan, oh simples, discreción; Y ustedes, necios, «entren en cordura prudencia y buen juicio.»
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
