Proverbios 9

1Die Weisheit hat ihr Haus gebaut, hat ihre sieben Säulen ausgehauen;
2sie hat ihr Schlachtvieh geschlachtet, ihren Wein gemischt, auch ihren Tisch gedeckt;
3sie hat ihre Mägde ausgesandt, ladet ein auf den Höhen der Stadt:
4“Wer ist einfältig? Er wende sich hierher!” Zu den Unverständigen spricht sie:
5“Kommet, esset von meinem Brote, und trinket von dem Weine, den ich gemischt habe!
6Lasset ab von der Einfältigkeit und lebet, und schreitet einher auf dem Wege des Verstandes!” -
7Wer den Spötter zurechtweist, zieht sich Schande zu; und wer den Gesetzlosen straft, sein Schandfleck ist es.
8Strafe den Spötter nicht, daß er dich nicht hasse; strafe den Weisen, und er wird dich lieben.
9Gib dem Weisen, so wird er noch weiser; belehre den Gerechten, so wird er an Kenntnis zunehmen. -
10Die Furcht Jehovas ist der Weisheit Anfang; und die Erkenntnis des Heiligen ist Verstand.
11Denn durch mich werden deine Tage sich mehren, und Jahre des Lebens werden dir hinzugefügt werden.
12Wenn du weise bist, so bist du weise für dich; und spottest du, so wirst du allein es tragen.
13Frau Torheit ist leidenschaftlich; sie ist lauter Einfältigkeit und weiß gar nichts.
14Und sie sitzt am Eingang ihres Hauses, auf einem Sitze an hochgelegenen Stellen der Stadt,
15um einzuladen, die des Weges vorübergehen, die ihre Pfade gerade halten:
16“Wer ist einfältig? Er wende sich hierher!” Und zu dem Unverständigen spricht sie:
17“Gestohlene Wasser sind süß, und heimliches Brot ist lieblich”.
18Und er weiß nicht, daß dort die Schatten sind, in den Tiefen des Scheols ihre Geladenen.

1LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
2Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
3Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
4Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
5Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
6Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
7El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
8No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
9Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
10El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.
11Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
12Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
13La mujer loca es alborotadora; es simple é ignorante.
14Siéntase en una silla á la puerta de su casa, en lo alto de la ciudad,
15Para llamar á los que pasan por el camino, que van por sus caminos derechos.
16Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
17Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
18Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.

1Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
2She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
3She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
4Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
5Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
6Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
7He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
8Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
9Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
11For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
12If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
13A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
14For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
17Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
18But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

1Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
2She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
3She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
4“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
5“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
6Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
7One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
8Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
9Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.
12If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
