LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
sie hat ihr Schlachtvieh geschlachtet, ihren Wein gemischt, auch ihren Tisch gedeckt;
Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
sie hat ihre Mägde ausgesandt, ladet ein auf den Höhen der Stadt:
Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
"Wer ist einfältig? Er wende sich hierher!" Zu den Unverständigen spricht sie:
Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
"Kommet, esset von meinem Brote, und trinket von dem Weine, den ich gemischt habe!
Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
Lasset ab von der Einfältigkeit und lebet, und schreitet einher auf dem Wege des Verstandes!" -
Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
Wer den Spötter zurechtweist, zieht sich Schande zu; und wer den Gesetzlosen straft, sein Schandfleck ist es.
El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
Strafe den Spötter nicht, daß er dich nicht hasse; strafe den Weisen, und er wird dich lieben.
No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
Gib dem Weisen, so wird er noch weiser; belehre den Gerechten, so wird er an Kenntnis zunehmen. -
Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
Die Furcht Jehovas ist der Weisheit Anfang; und die Erkenntnis des Heiligen ist Verstand.
El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Denn durch mich werden deine Tage sich mehren, und Jahre des Lebens werden dir hinzugefügt werden.
Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.
Wenn du weise bist, so bist du weise für dich; und spottest du, so wirst du allein es tragen.
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.

um einzuladen, die des Weges vorübergehen, die ihre Pfade gerade halten:
Para llamar á los que pasan por el camino, que van por sus caminos derechos.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
to call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways,
"Wer ist einfältig? Er wende sich hierher!" Und zu dem Unverständigen spricht sie:
Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:

"Gestohlene Wasser sind süß, und heimliches Brot ist lieblich".
Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
“Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”
Und er weiß nicht, daß dort die Schatten sind, in den Tiefen des Scheols ihre Geladenen.
Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.
But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
