LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
Elle a tué des animaux pour son festin, mélangé son vin et dressé sa table.
Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
Elle a mis en campagne ses servantes; elle lance ses invitations du haut des éminences de la cité:
Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
"Quiconque a l'esprit faible vienne de ce côté!" A celui qui est dépourvu d'intelligence, elle adresse la parole:
Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
"Venez, mangez de mon pain et buvez du vin que j'ai mélangé.
Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
Laissez-là la sottise et vous vivrez; dirigez vos pas dans la voie de la raison!"
Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
Morigéner le moqueur, c'est s'attirer des avanies, réprimander le méchant, c'est se marquer d'une tare.
El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
Ne morigène pas le railleur, car il te haïrait; fais des remontrances au sage, et il t'en aimera davantage.
No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
Donne une leçon au sage, et il deviendra plus sage; instruis l'homme de bien, et il enrichira son savoir.
Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
Le commencement de la sagesse, c'est la crainte du Seigneur, et la connaissance du Très-Saint, c'est là la saine raison.
El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.

Certes, c'est grâce à moi que se multiplieront tes jours et que te seront dispensées de longues années de vie.
Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Si tu deviens sage, c'est pour ton bien; si tu deviens un persifleur, toi seul en porteras la peine.
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
Commère, la folie est bruyante, légère, inconsciente.
La mujer loca es alborotadora; es simple é ignorante.
A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.

pour appeler les passants, qui vont droit leur chemin:
Para llamar á los que pasan por el camino, que van por sus caminos derechos.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
to call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways,
"Quiconque a l'esprit faible vienne de ce côté!" A celui qui est dépourvu d'Intelligence elle adresse la parole:
Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:

"Suave est l'eau volée, délicieux le pain dérobé!"
Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

Il ne sait pas, lui, que là est le séjour des ombres, que les convives de cette femme sont déjà dans les profondeurs du Cheol!
Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.
But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
