A prayer of the afflicted, when he shall be in distresse, and pour forth his meditation before the Lord. O Lord, heare my prayer, and let my crye come vnto thee.
Oración del pobre, cuando estuviere angustiado, y delante de Jehová derramare su lamento. JEHOVÁ, oye mi oración, y venga mi clamor á ti.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.
Hear my prayer, LORD! Let my cry come to you.
Hide not thy face from me in the time of my trouble: incline thine eares vnto me: when I call, make haste to heare me.
No escondas de mí tu rostro: en el día de mi angustia inclina á mí tu oído; el día que te invocare, apresúrate á responderme.
Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
For my dayes are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burnt like an herthe.
Porque mis días se han consumido como humo; y mis huesos cual tizón están quemados.
For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.
Mine heart is smitten and withereth like grasse, because I forgate to eate my bread.
Mi corazón fué herido, y secóse como la hierba; por lo cual me olvidé de comer mi pan.
My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
For the voyce of my groning my bones doe cleaue to my skinne.
Por la voz de mi gemido mis huesos se han pegado á mi carne.
By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
I am like a pelicane of the wildernesse: I am like an owle of the deserts.
Soy semejante al pelícano del desierto; soy como el buho de las soledades.
I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
I watch and am as a sparrowe alone vpon the house top.
Velo, y soy como el pájaro solitario sobre el tejado.
I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
Mine enemies reuile me dayly, and they that rage against me, haue sworne against me.
Cada día me afrentan mis enemigos; los que se enfurecen contra mí, hanse contra mí conjurado.
Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
Surely I haue eaten asshes as bread, and mingled my drinke with weeping,
Por lo que como la ceniza á manera de pan, y mi bebida mezclo con lloro,
For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast heaued me vp, and cast me downe.
A causa de tu enojo y de tu ira; pues me alzaste, y me has arrojado.
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
because of your indignation and your wrath; for you have taken me up and thrown me away.
My dayes are like a shadowe that fadeth, and I am withered like grasse.
Mis días son como la sombra que se va; y heme secado como la hierba.
My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
But thou, O Lord, doest remaine for euer, and thy remembrance from generation to generation.
Mas tú, Jehová, permanecerás para siempre, y tu memoria para generación y generación.
But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
But you, LORD, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
Thou wilt arise and haue mercy vpon Zion: for the time to haue mercie thereon, for the appointed time is come.
Tú levantándote, tendrás misericordia de Sión; porque el tiempo de tener misericordia de ella, porque el plazo es llegado.
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.
For thy seruants delite in the stones thereof, and haue pitie on the dust thereof.
Porque tus siervos aman sus piedras, y del polvo de ella tienen compasión.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
Then the heathen shall feare the Name of the Lord, and all the Kings of the earth thy glory,
Entonces temerán las gentes el nombre de Jehová, y todos los reyes de la tierra tu gloria;
So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
So the nations will fear the LORD’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.
When the Lord shall build vp Zion, and shall appeare in his glory,
Por cuanto Jehová habrá edificado á Sión, y en su gloria será visto;
When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
For the LORD has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
And shall turne vnto the prayer of the desolate, and not despise their prayer.
Habrá mirado á la oración de los solitarios, y no habrá desechado el ruego de ellos.
He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people, which shalbe created, shall prayse the Lord.
Escribirse ha esto para la generación venidera: y el pueblo que se criará, alabará á JAH.
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise the LORD,
For he hath looked downe from the height of his Sanctuarie: out of the heauen did the Lord beholde the earth,
Porque miró de lo alto de su santuario; Jehová miró de los cielos á la tierra,
For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
for he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, the LORD saw the earth,
That he might heare the mourning of the prisoner, and deliuer the children of death:
Para oir el gemido de los presos, para soltar á los sentenciados á muerte;
To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
to hear the groans of the prisoner, to free those who are condemned to death,
That they may declare the Name of the Lord in Zion, and his prayse in Ierusalem,
Porque cuenten en Sión el nombre de Jehová, y su alabanza en Jerusalem,
To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
that men may declare the LORD’s name in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
When the people shalbe gathered together, and the kingdomes to serue the Lord.
Cuando los pueblos se congregaren en uno, y los reinos, para servir á Jehová.
When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
He abated my strength in the way, and shortened my dayes.
El afligió mi fuerza en el camino; acortó mis días.
He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
And I sayd, O my God, take me not away in the middes of my dayes: thy yeeres endure from generation to generation.
Dije: Dios mío, no me cortes en el medio de mis días: por generación de generaciones son tus años.
I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.
I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the middle of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
Thou hast aforetime layde the foundation of the earth, and the heauens are the worke of thine hands.
Tú fundaste la tierra antiguamente, y los cielos son obra de tus manos.
Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: euen they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.
Ellos perecerán, y tú permanecerás; y todos ellos como un vestido se envejecerán; como una ropa de vestir los mudarás, y serán mudados:
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
But thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not fayle.
Mas tú eres el mismo, y tus años no se acabarán.
But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
But you are the same. Your years will have no end.
The children of thy seruants shall continue, and their seede shall stand fast in thy sight.
Los hijos de tus siervos habitarán, y su simiente será afirmada delante de ti.
The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
The children of your servants will continue. Their offspring will be established before you.”
