y cubriste de aguas la parte superior de ellos. Tú haces de las nubes tu carroza; corres sobre las alas de los vientos.
Que establece sus aposentos entre las aguas; el que pone las nubes por su carroza, el que anda sobre las alas del viento;
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.
Haces que tus ángeles sean veloces como los vientos, y tus ministros activos como fuego abrasador.
El que hace á sus ángeles espíritus, sus ministros al fuego flameante.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Cimentaste la tierra sobre sus propias bases; no se desnivelará jamás.

Se hallaba cubierta como de una capa de inmensas aguas; sobrepujaban éstas los montes.
Con el abismo, como con vestido, la cubriste; sobre los montes estaban las aguas.

A tu amenaza echaron a huir, amedrentadas del estampido de tu trueno.

Se alzan como montes, y se abajan como valles, en el lugar que les estableciste.
Subieron los montes, descendieron los valles, al lugar que tú les fundaste.

Le fijaste un término, que no traspasarán, no volverán ellas a cubrir la tierra.

Tú haces brotar las fuentes en los valles, y que filtren las aguas por en medio de los montes.

Con eso beberán todas las bestias del campo; a ellas correrán, acosados de la sed, los asnos monteses.

Junto a ellos habitarán las aves del cielo, desde entre las peñas harán sentir sus gorjeos.

Tú riegas los montes con las aguas que envías de lo alto; colmas la tierra de frutos que tú haces nacer.
El que riega los montes desde sus aposentos: del fruto de sus obras se sacia la tierra.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

Tú produces el heno para las bestias, y la hierba que da grano para el servicio de los hombres, a fin de hacer salir pan del seno de la tierra,

¡Oh Señor, y cuán grandiosas son todas tus obras! Todo lo has hecho sabiamente; llena está la tierra de tus riquezas.
¡Cuán muchas son tus obras, oh Jehová! Hiciste todas ellas con sabiduría: la tierra está llena de tus beneficios.
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Tuyo es este mar tan grande y de tan anchurosos senos; en él peces sin cuento, animales pequeños y grandes.

Tú se lo das, y acuden ellos a recogerle; abriendo tú la mano, todos se hartarán de bienes.

Mas si tú apartaras tu rostro, se turbarían; les quitas el espíritu, dejan de ser, y vuelven a parar en el polvo de que salieron.
Escondes tu rostro, túrbanse: les quitas el espíritu, dejan de ser, y tórnanse en su polvo.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

Enviarás tu espíritu, y serán creados, y renovarás la faz de la tierra.
Envías tu espíritu, críanse: y renuevas la haz de la tierra.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

Sea para siempre celebrada la gloria del Señor. Se complacerá el Señor en sus criaturas;

aquel Señor que hace estremecer la tierra con sola una mirada; y que si toca los montes, humean.
El cual mira á la tierra, y ella tiembla; toca los montes, y humean.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

Yo cantaré toda mi vida las alabanzas del Señor; entonaré himnos a mi Dios mientras yo viviere.

Desaparezcan de la tierra los pecadores y los inicuos; de suerte que no quede ninguno. Tú, ¡oh alma mía!, bendice al Señor.
Sean consumidos de la tierra los pecadores, y los impíos dejen de ser. Bendice, alma mía, á Jehová. Aleluya.
Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
