Il l'a confirmé à Jacob comme statut, A Israël, comme alliance éternelle,

Y establecióla á Jacob por decreto, á Israel por pacto sempiterno,

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
