Er verkehrete jener Herz, daß sie seinem Volk gram wurden und dachten seine Knechte mit List zu dämpfen.

Para que reprimiera á sus grandes como él quisiese, y á sus ancianos enseñara sabiduría.

To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
