Egli li riscosse molte volte; Ma essi lo dispettarono co' lor consigli, Onde furono abbattuti per la loro iniquità.

Muchas veces los libró; mas ellos se rebelaron á su consejo, y fueron humillados por su maldad.

Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

He rescued them many times, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.
