Nossos pais não apreciaram Teus feitos maravilhosos no Egito; eles ignoraram Teus muitos atos de fidelidade; eles foram rebeldes contra o Altíssimo, junto ao mar Vermelho.

Nuestros padres en Egipto no entendieron tus maravillas; no se acordaron de la muchedumbre de tus misericordias; sino que se rebelaron junto á la mar, en el mar Bermejo.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
