No entanto, perderam sua força e poder, voltaram a ser poucos em número. Foram humilhados com a exploração, desgraça e muito sofrimento.

O Senhor despreza os príncipes orgulhosos e faz com que eles andem sem destino por terras desconhecidas, onde nem sequer existem estradas.
El derrama menosprecio sobre los príncipes, y les hace andar errados, vagabundos, sin camino:
He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

Mas livra da miséria os pobres, e aumenta as suas famílias como rebanhos.

Os que obedecem a Deus veem essas coisas e se alegram, mas os perversos ficam sem resposta.
Vean los rectos, y alégrense; y toda maldad cierre su boca.
The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
Que os sensatos reflitam nisso! Pensem no amor cuidadoso do Senhor!
¿Quién es sabio y guardará estas cosas, y entenderá las misericordias de Jehová?
Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.
