¡Despierten, también, arpa y lira! ¡Voy a despertar al nuevo día!
Despiértate, salterio y arpa: despertaré al alba.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
Te alabaré, Señor, entre todos los pueblos; te cantaré alabanzas entre todas las naciones.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Señor, ¿nos has desechado? ¿Has abandonado nuestros ejércitos?
Ciertamente tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
¡Oh, ayúdanos a combatir a nuestros enemigos, pues los hombres son aliados inútiles!
Danos socorro en la angustia: porque mentirosa es la salud del hombre.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
Pero con tu ayuda realizaremos grandes proezas. Porque él aplasta a nuestros enemigos.
En Dios haremos proezas: y él hollará nuestros enemigos.
