Despierta, pues, ¡oh gloria, oh alma mía!, apresuraos, ¡oh salterio y cítara!, yo me levantaré al rayar la aurora,
Despiértate, salterio y arpa: despertaré al alba.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
y te alabaré, Señor en medio de los pueblos, y te cantaré himnos entre las naciones.

Moab el vaso u objeto de mi esperanza, yo le conquistaré. Por Idumea extenderé mis plantas; se me harán amigos, se me someterán los extranjeros.

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

¿Quién sino tu, ¡oh mi Dios! que nos habías desamparado? ¿No vendrás tú, oh Dios mío, a la cabeza de nuestros ejércitos?
Ciertamente tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
Danos tu socorro en la tribulación; porque la salvación en vano se espera del hombre.
