porque los malvados y los mentirosos han abierto su boca contra mí. Han dicho mentiras acerca de mí.

A cambio de mi amor me atacan, pero yo me dedico a orar.

Me han pagado mal por bien, y me devuelven odio a cambio de mi amor.

Pon a un hombre malvado como su juez. Que un acusador se ponga a su mano derecha.

Que el prestamista le quite todo lo que tiene. Que gente extraña le robe el fruto de su trabajo.
Enrede el acreedor todo lo que tiene, y extraños saqueen su trabajo.

Que no haya nadie que le muestre compasión, ni nadie que se apiade de sus hijos huérfanos.

Se vistió de maldición como si fuera su propia ropa; esta se le metió en el cuerpo como el agua, y en los huesos como el aceite.
Y vistióse de maldición como de su vestido, y entró como agua en sus entrañas, y como aceite en sus huesos.
As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

Que la maldición sea como la ropa que lo cubre, como el cinturón que lleva puesto para siempre.
Séale como vestido con que se cubra, y en lugar de cinto con que se ciña siempre.

Que este sea el castigo de Yahvé para mis enemigos, para los que dicen cosas malas en mi contra.

Mis rodillas están débiles de tanto ayunar, y mi cuerpo está flaco y consumido.

Me he convertido en el motivo de burla de la gente; cuando me ven, mueven la cabeza en señal de desprecio.
Yo he sido para ellos objeto de oprobio; mirábanme, y meneaban su cabeza.
I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.

Ayúdame, Yahvé, mi Dios. Sálvame de acuerdo con tu amor inagotable;
Ayúdame, Jehová Dios mío: sálvame conforme á tu misericordia.
Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
Help me, LORD, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness;
para que reconozcan que esta es tu mano, que tú, Yahvé, lo has hecho.
Y entiendan que esta es tu mano; que tú, Jehová, has hecho esto.
That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.

Ellos me pueden maldecir, pero tú me vas a bendecir. Cuando me ataquen, quedarán avergonzados, pero tu siervo se alegrará.
Maldigan ellos, y bendice tú: levántense, mas sean avergonzados, y regocíjese tu siervo.
Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.

Que mis enemigos queden cubiertos de deshonra. Que se envuelvan en su propia vergüenza como si fuera un abrigo.
Sean vestidos de ignominia los que me calumnian; y sean cubiertos de su confusión como con manto.
Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

Con mi boca le daré muchas gracias a Yahvé. Sí, lo alabaré en medio de la gran multitud.
Yo alabaré á Jehová en gran manera con mi boca, y le loaré en medio de muchos.
I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

Porque él se pondrá a la derecha de los necesitados, para salvarlos de quienes los condenan a muerte.
