Porque boca de impío y boca de engañador se han abierto sobre mí: han hablado de mí con lengua mentirosa,

Con sus palabras de odio me inquietan, y sin razón alguna me buscan pleito.

Yo los amo, pero aun mientras oro por ellos, ellos están procurando destruirme.
En pago de mi amor me han sido adversarios: mas yo oraba.

Pagan mal por bien, y odio por mi amor.

Pon en su contra a un malvado; haz que un acusador los lleve a juicio.
Pon sobre él al impío: y Satán esté á su diestra.

Que los declaren culpable al ser juzgado. Considera pecado sus oraciones.

Que los acreedores se apoderen de todas sus propiedades y los extraños tomen cuanto ha ganado.
Enrede el acreedor todo lo que tiene, y extraños saqueen su trabajo.
Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
Que nadie sea generoso con ellos; que nadie se apiade de sus hijos huérfanos.
No tenga quien le haga misericordia; ni haya quien tenga compasión de sus huérfanos.
Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

Que mueran sus descendientes. Que en una sola generación desaparezca su apellido.

Castiga los pecados de su padre. No olvides el pecado de su madre.
Venga en memoria cerca de Jehová la maldad de sus padres, y el pecado de su madre no sea borrado.

Piensa continuamente en los males que han hecho, y arranca su nombre de la memoria de los hombres.

As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

La maldición es parte de él como sus vestidos, o como al agua que bebe, o como los manjares que come.
Y vistióse de maldición como de su vestido, y entró como agua en sus entrañas, y como aceite en sus huesos.
As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

Vuélvanse ahora esas maldiciones contra él y que sean parte de él como la ropa; que lo aprieten como su cinturón.
Séale como vestido con que se cubra, y en lugar de cinto con que se ciña siempre.
Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.

Así sea el castigo del Señor sobre mis enemigos que me calumnian y me amenazan de muerte.
Este sea el pago de parte de Jehová de los que me calumnian, y de los que hablan mal contra mi alma.

y la piel se me pega a los huesos.
Mis rodillas están debilitadas á causa del ayuno, y mi carne desfallecida por falta de gordura.
My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.

Soy símbolo de fracaso para toda la humanidad; cuantos me miran menean la cabeza.
Yo he sido para ellos objeto de oprobio; mirábanme, y meneaban su cabeza.
I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
I have also become a reproach to them. When they see me, they shake their head.
¡Ayúdame, Señor, y Dios mío! ¡Sálvame! Por tu gran amor.
Ayúdame, Jehová Dios mío: sálvame conforme á tu misericordia.
Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
Help me, LORD, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness;
Hazlo en público, para que todos vean que tú lo has hecho.
Y entiendan que esta es tu mano; que tú, Jehová, has hecho esto.
That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.
that they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
Después, que me maldigan si quieren; pero tú me bendecirás, pues entonces todos sus esfuerzos por destruirme fracasarán, pues yo soy tu siervo y seguiré regocijándome.
Maldigan ellos, y bendice tú: levántense, mas sean avergonzados, y regocíjese tu siervo.
Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.

¡Que todos vean su humillación, cúbrelos con un manto de vergüenza!
Sean vestidos de ignominia los que me calumnian; y sean cubiertos de su confusión como con manto.
Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.
Pero yo daré repetidas gracias al Señor, y lo alabaré ante todos.
Yo alabaré á Jehová en gran manera con mi boca, y le loaré en medio de muchos.
I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

Porque él defiende al necesitado, para salvarlo de quienes lo condenan.
Porque él se pondrá á la diestra del pobre, para librar su alma de los que le juzgan.
For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
