Pourquoi, ô Eternel ! te tiens-tu loin, et te caches-tu au temps que nous sommes dans la détresse ?
¿POR qué estás lejos, oh Jehová, y te escondes en el tiempo de la tribulación?
Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
Le méchant par son orgueil poursuit ardemment l’affligé ; mais ils seront pris par les machinations qu’ils ont préméditées.
Con arrogancia el malo persigue al pobre: serán cogidos en los artificios que han ideado.
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
Car le méchant se glorifie du souhait de son âme, il estime heureux l’avare, et il irrite l’Eternel.
Por cuanto se alaba el malo del deseo de su alma, y bendice al codicioso, á quien Jehová aborrece.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
Le méchant marchant avec fierté ne fait conscience de rien; toutes ses pensées sont, qu’il n’y a point de Dieu.
El malo, por la altivez de su rostro, no busca á Dios: no hay Dios en todos sus pensamientos.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
Son train prospère en tout temps ; tes jugements sont éloignés de devant lui ; il souffle contre tous ses adversaires.
Sus caminos son viciosos en todo tiempo: tus juicios los tiene muy lejos de su vista: echa bocanadas en orden á todos sus enemigos.
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
Il dit en son coeur : je ne serai jamais ébranlé ; car je ne puis avoir de mal.
Dice en su corazón: No seré movido en ningún tiempo, ni jamás me alcanzará el infortunio.
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
Sa bouche est pleine de malédictions, de tromperies, et de fraude ; il n’y a sous sa langue qu’oppression et qu’outrage.
Llena está su boca de maldición, y de engaños y fraude: debajo de su lengua, vejación y maldad.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Il se tient aux embûches dans des villages ; il tue l’innocent dans des lieux cachés ; ses yeux épient le troupeau des désolés.
Está en las guaridas de las aldeas: en los escondrijos mata al inocente: sus ojos están acechando al pobre.
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
Il se tient aux embûches en un lieu caché, comme un lion dans son fort ; il se tient aux embûches pour attraper l’affligé ; il attrape l’affligé, l’attirant en son filet.
Acecha en oculto, como el león desde su cama: acecha para arrebatar al pobre: arrebata al pobre trayéndolo á su red.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
Il se tapit, et se baisse, et puis le troupeau des désolés tombe entre ses bras.
Encógese, agáchase, y caen en sus fuerzas muchos desdichados.
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
Il dit en son coeur : le Dieu Fort l’a oublié, il a caché sa face, il ne le verra jamais.
Dice en su corazón: Dios está olvidado, ha encubierto su rostro; nunca lo verá.
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
Eternel, lève-toi, ô Dieu Fort ! hausse ta main, et n’oublie point les débonnaires.
Levántate, oh Jehová Dios, alza tu mano, no te olvides de los pobres.
Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
Pourquoi le méchant irriterait-il Dieu ? Il a dit en son coeur que tu n’en feras aucune recherche.
¿Por qué irrita el malo á Dios? En su corazón ha dicho que no lo inquirirás.
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
Tu l’as vu ; car lorsqu’on afflige ou qu’on maltraite quelqu’un, tu regardes pour le mettre entre tes mains, le troupeau des désolés se réfugie auprès de toi ; tu as aidé l’orphelin.
Tú lo tienes visto: porque tú miras el trabajo, y la vejación, para vengarle por tu mano: á ti se acoge el pobre, tú eres el amparo del huérfano.
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
Casse le bras du méchant, et recherche la méchanceté de l’injuste, jusqu’à ce que tu n’en trouves plus rien.
Quebranta el brazo del malo: del maligno buscarás su maldad, hasta que ninguna halles.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
L’Eternel est Roi à toujours, et à perpétuité ; les nations ont été exterminées de dessus sa terre.
Jehová, Rey eterno y perpetuo; de su tierra fueron destruídas las gentes.
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

Eternel, tu exauces le souhait des débonnaires, affermis leur coeur, et que ton oreille les écoute attentivement ;
El deseo de los humildes oíste, oh Jehová: tú dispones su corazón, y haces atento tu oído;
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
Pour faire droit à l’orphelin et à celui qui est foulé, afin que l’homme mortel, qui est de terre, ne continue plus à donner de l’effroi.
Para juzgar al huérfano y al pobre, á fin de que no vuelva más á hacer violencia el hombre de la tierra.
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
