¿POR qué estás lejos, oh Jehová, y te escondes en el tiempo de la tribulación?
Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
Olhe bem o que está acontecendo! Na sua arrogância o perverso explora e maltrata o homem pobre! Que ele seja apanhado nas suas próprias armadilhas!
Con arrogancia el malo persigue al pobre: serán cogidos en los artificios que han ideado.
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
O homem longe de Deus conta vantagem sobre os maus desejos do seu coração. Quem só pensa em ganhar e ajuntar riquezas amaldiçoa e desrespeita o seu Senhor.
Por cuanto se alaba el malo del deseo de su alma, y bendice al codicioso, á quien Jehová aborrece.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
O homem pecador, cheio de orgulho, não procura a Deus, nem se interessa por ele. Todos os seus planos se limitam ao seguinte: “Não existe Deus!”
El malo, por la altivez de su rostro, no busca á Dios: no hay Dios en todos sus pensamientos.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
Apesar disso, ele tem sucesso em todas as suas atividades. Para ele, as leis de Deus são uma coisa distante e impossível de acontecer. Por isso, ele despreza e faz pouco caso de todos os seus inimigos.
Sus caminos son viciosos en todo tiempo: tus juicios los tiene muy lejos de su vista: echa bocanadas en orden á todos sus enemigos.
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
No fundo de seu coração ele pensa: “Ninguém será capaz de me abalar! Nenhuma desgraça me atingirá. Sempre conseguirei escapar dos perigos!”
Dice en su corazón: No seré movido en ningún tiempo, ni jamás me alcanzará el infortunio.
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
O homem pecador tem a boca cheia de maldições, mentiras e maldades. Sua língua está cheia de engano e falsidade.
Llena está su boca de maldición, y de engaños y fraude: debajo de su lengua, vejación y maldad.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
Esconde-se nas aldeias, e nos lugares escuros ele mata o inocente. Procura sempre os fracos e desamparados para atacar e roubar.
Está en las guaridas de las aldeas: en los escondrijos mata al inocente: sus ojos están acechando al pobre.
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
Ele é como um leão que fica à espreita para atacar de surpresa o necessitado. Ele arma ciladas para roubar o pobre, e prende-o na sua rede.
Acecha en oculto, como el león desde su cama: acecha para arrebatar al pobre: arrebata al pobre trayéndolo á su red.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
Ele se abaixa, se arrasta pelo chão e assim consegue dominar as suas vítimas.
Encógese, agáchase, y caen en sus fuerzas muchos desdichados.
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
No seu coração ele pensa: “Deus não se importa com isso. Ele nunca vai ver o que estou fazendo”.
Dice en su corazón: Dios está olvidado, ha encubierto su rostro; nunca lo verá.
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
Ó Senhor, levante-se! Erga a sua mão e castigue esses homens! Não despreze os necessitados.
Levántate, oh Jehová Dios, alza tu mano, no te olvides de los pobres.
Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
Por que o homem perverso não dá valor a Deus? Por que pensa consigo mesmo: “Deus não se importa com a vida dos homens?”
¿Por qué irrita el malo á Dios? En su corazón ha dicho que no lo inquirirás.
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
A verdade é que o Senhor vê quem sofre desgraça e tristeza e é explorado. Por isso, Senhor, o homem pobre e sem recursos confia absolutamente no Senhor. O Senhor é o protetor do órfão!
Tú lo tienes visto: porque tú miras el trabajo, y la vejación, para vengarle por tu mano: á ti se acoge el pobre, tú eres el amparo del huérfano.
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
Ó Senhor, quebre o braço do mau e do perverso. Castigue-o por causa das suas maldades até que não as pratique mais.
Quebranta el brazo del malo: del maligno buscarás su maldad, hasta que ninguna halles.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
O Senhor é rei eterno. Da sua terra serão exterminadas as outras nações.
Jehová, Rey eterno y perpetuo; de su tierra fueron destruídas las gentes.
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
The LORD is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.
O Senhor ouve a súplica das pessoas aflitas. Socorra essa gente; dê a eles o que necessitam!
El deseo de los humildes oíste, oh Jehová: tú dispones su corazón, y haces atento tu oído;
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
O Senhor cuida do bem-estar dos órfãos e dos explorados! Mostra o seu grande amor pelos humildes, para que o homem, que é pó, não possa mais espalhar medo entre eles.
Para juzgar al huérfano y al pobre, á fin de que no vuelva más á hacer violencia el hombre de la tierra.
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
