¿POR qué estás lejos, oh Jehová, y te escondes en el tiempo de la tribulación?
Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
L’empio nella sua superbia perseguita con furore i miseri; essi rimangon presi nelle macchinazioni che gli empi hanno ordite;
Con arrogancia el malo persigue al pobre: serán cogidos en los artificios que han ideado.
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
poiché l’empio si gloria delle brame dell’anima sua, benedice il rapace e disprezza l’Eterno.
Por cuanto se alaba el malo del deseo de su alma, y bendice al codicioso, á quien Jehová aborrece.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
L’empio, nell’alterezza della sua faccia, dice: l’Eterno non farà inchieste. Tutti i suoi pensieri sono: Non c’è Dio!
El malo, por la altivez de su rostro, no busca á Dios: no hay Dios en todos sus pensamientos.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
Le sue vie son prospere in ogni tempo; cosa troppo alta per lui sono i tuoi giudizi; egli soffia contro tutti i suoi nemici.
Sus caminos son viciosos en todo tiempo: tus juicios los tiene muy lejos de su vista: echa bocanadas en orden á todos sus enemigos.
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
Egli dice nel suo cuore: Non sarò mai smosso; d’età in età non m’accadrà male alcuno.
Dice en su corazón: No seré movido en ningún tiempo, ni jamás me alcanzará el infortunio.
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
La sua bocca è piena di esecrazione, di frodi, e di oppressione; sotto la sua lingua v’è malizia ed iniquità.
Llena está su boca de maldición, y de engaños y fraude: debajo de su lengua, vejación y maldad.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Egli sta negli agguati de’ villaggi; uccide l’innocente in luoghi nascosti; i suoi occhi spiano il meschino.
Está en las guaridas de las aldeas: en los escondrijos mata al inocente: sus ojos están acechando al pobre.
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
Sta in agguato nel suo nascondiglio come un leone nella sua spelonca; sta in agguato per sorprendere il misero; egli sorprende il misero traendolo nella sua rete.
Acecha en oculto, como el león desde su cama: acecha para arrebatar al pobre: arrebata al pobre trayéndolo á su red.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
Se ne sta quatto e chino, ed i meschini cadono tra le sue unghie.
Encógese, agáchase, y caen en sus fuerzas muchos desdichados.
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
Egli dice nel cuor suo: Iddio dimentica, nasconde la sua faccia, mai lo vedrà.
Dice en su corazón: Dios está olvidado, ha encubierto su rostro; nunca lo verá.
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
Lèvati, o Eterno! o Dio, alza la mano! Non dimenticare i miseri.
Levántate, oh Jehová Dios, alza tu mano, no te olvides de los pobres.
Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
Perché l’empio disprezza Iddio? perché dice in cuor suo: Non ne farai ricerca?
¿Por qué irrita el malo á Dios? En su corazón ha dicho que no lo inquirirás.
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
Tu l’hai pur veduto; poiché tu riguardi ai travagli ed alle pene per prender la cosa in mano. A te si abbandona il meschino; tu sei l’aiutator dell’orfano.
Tú lo tienes visto: porque tú miras el trabajo, y la vejación, para vengarle por tu mano: á ti se acoge el pobre, tú eres el amparo del huérfano.
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
Fiacca il braccio dell’empio, cerca l’empietà del malvagio finché tu non ne trovi più.
Quebranta el brazo del malo: del maligno buscarás su maldad, hasta que ninguna halles.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
L’Eterno è re in sempiterno; le nazioni sono state sterminate dalla sua terra.
Jehová, Rey eterno y perpetuo; de su tierra fueron destruídas las gentes.
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
The LORD is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.
O Eterno, tu esaudisci il desiderio degli umili; tu raffermerai il cuor loro, inclinerai le orecchie tue
El deseo de los humildes oíste, oh Jehová: tú dispones su corazón, y haces atento tu oído;

per far ragione all’orfano e all’oppresso, onde l’uomo, che è della terra, cessi dall’incutere spavento.
Para juzgar al huérfano y al pobre, á fin de que no vuelva más á hacer violencia el hombre de la tierra.
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
