¿Y por qué, ¡oh Señor!, te has retirado a lo lejos, y me has desamparado en el tiempo más crítico, en la tribulación?
¿POR qué estás lejos, oh Jehová, y te escondes en el tiempo de la tribulación?
Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
Mientras que el impío se llena de soberbia, se requema el pobre; mas en fin, los impíos son cogidos en los mismos designios o tramas que han urdido.
Con arrogancia el malo persigue al pobre: serán cogidos en los artificios que han ideado.
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
Por cuanto el pecador se jacta en los perversos deseos de su alma; y el inicuo se ve celebrado.
Por cuanto se alaba el malo del deseo de su alma, y bendice al codicioso, á quien Jehová aborrece.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
Por lo mismo, orgulloso el pecador ha exasperado al Señor, y no le buscará según el exceso de su arrogancia.
El malo, por la altivez de su rostro, no busca á Dios: no hay Dios en todos sus pensamientos.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
Delante de él no hay Dios; y así sus procederes son siempre viciosos. Tus juicios, Señor, los ha apartado lejos de su vista, sólo piensa en dominar a todos sus enemigos.
Sus caminos son viciosos en todo tiempo: tus juicios los tiene muy lejos de su vista: echa bocanadas en orden á todos sus enemigos.
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
Pues él ha dicho en su corazón: Nunca jamás seré yo derrocado; viviré siempre libre de todo infortunio.
Dice en su corazón: No seré movido en ningún tiempo, ni jamás me alcanzará el infortunio.
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
Está su boca llena de maldición y de amargura, y de dolor; debajo de su lengua opresión y dolor para el prójimo.
Llena está su boca de maldición, y de engaños y fraude: debajo de su lengua, vejación y maldad.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
Se pone al acecho con los ricos en sitios escondidos, para matar al inocente;
Está en las guaridas de las aldeas: en los escondrijos mata al inocente: sus ojos están acechando al pobre.
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
tiene siempre su vista fija contra el pobre; está acechando desde la emboscada, como un león desde su cueva. Acecha para echar sus garras sobre el pobre, para agarrar al pobre, atrayéndole dolosamente hacia sí.
Acecha en oculto, como el león desde su cama: acecha para arrebatar al pobre: arrebata al pobre trayéndolo á su red.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
Lo hará caer en su lazo; se agachará en tierra, y se echará encima de los pobres, luego que los haya apresado.
Encógese, agáchase, y caen en sus fuerzas muchos desdichados.
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
Porque él dijo en su corazón: Dios ya de nada se acuerda; ha vuelto su rostro para no ver jamás nada.
Dice en su corazón: Dios está olvidado, ha encubierto su rostro; nunca lo verá.
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
Levántate, pues, ¡oh Señor Dios!, alza tu poderosa mano; no te olvides de los pobres o desvalidos.
Levántate, oh Jehová Dios, alza tu mano, no te olvides de los pobres.
Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
¿Por qué razón el impío ha irritado así a Dios? Es porque ha dicho en su corazón: Dios de nada se cuida.
¿Por qué irrita el malo á Dios? En su corazón ha dicho que no lo inquirirás.
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
Pero tú, Señor, lo estás viendo; tú consideras el afán y el dolor del oprimido; para entregar a los malvados al castigo de tus manos. A cargo tuyo está la tutela del pobre; tú eres el amparo del huérfano.
Tú lo tienes visto: porque tú miras el trabajo, y la vejación, para vengarle por tu mano: á ti se acoge el pobre, tú eres el amparo del huérfano.
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
Quebranta el brazo del pecador y del maligno; y entonces se buscará el fruto de su pecado, y no se hallará nada.
Quebranta el brazo del malo: del maligno buscarás su maldad, hasta que ninguna halles.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
Reinará el Señor eternamente y por los siglos de los siglos; vosotros, ¡oh naciones impías!, seréis extirpadas de su tierra.
Jehová, Rey eterno y perpetuo; de su tierra fueron destruídas las gentes.
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

Atendiste, ¡oh Señor!, al deseo de los pobres; prestaste benignos oídos a la rectitud de su corazón,
El deseo de los humildes oíste, oh Jehová: tú dispones su corazón, y haces atento tu oído;
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
para hacer justicia al huérfano y al oprimido; a fin de que cese ya el hombre de gloriarse de su poder sobre la tierra.
Para juzgar al huérfano y al pobre, á fin de que no vuelva más á hacer violencia el hombre de la tierra.
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
