1Halleluja! Wohl dem, der den HERRN fürchtet, der große Lust hat zu seinen Geboten!
2Des Same wird gewaltig sein auf Erden; das Geschlecht der Frommen wird gesegnet sein.
3Reichtum und die Fülle wird in ihrem Hause sein, und ihre Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich.
4Den Frommen geht das Licht auf in der Finsternis von dem Gnädigen, Barmherzigen und Gerechten.
5Wohl dem, der barmherzig ist und gerne leidet und richtet seine Sachen aus, daß er niemand Unrecht tue!
6Denn er wird ewiglich bleiben; des Gerechten wird nimmermehr vergessen.
7Wenn eine Plage kommen will, so fürchtet er sich nicht; sein Herz hofft unverzagt auf den HERRN.
8Sein Herz ist getrost und fürchtet sich nicht, bis er seine Lust an seinen Feinden sieht.
9Er streut aus und gibt den Armen; seine Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich, sein Horn wird erhöht mit Ehren.
10Der Gottlose wird's sehen, und es wird ihn verdrießen; seine Zähne wird er zusammenbeißen und vergehen. Denn was die Gottlosen gerne wollten, das ist verloren.

1Aleluya. BIENAVENTURADO el hombre que teme á Jehová, y en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera.
2Su simiente será poderosa en la tierra: la generación de los rectos será bendita.
3Hacienda y riquezas hay en su casa; y su justicia permanece para siempre.
4Resplandeció en las tinieblas luz á los rectos: es clemente, y misericordioso, y justo.
5El hombre de bien tiene misericordia y presta; gobierna sus cosas con juicio.
6Por lo cual no resbalará para siempre: en memoria eterna será el justo.
7De mala fama no tendrá temor: su corazón está apercibido, confiado en Jehová.
8Asentado está su corazón, no temerá, hasta que vea en sus enemigos su deseo.
9Esparce, da á los pobres: su justicia permanece para siempre; su cuerno será ensalzado en gloria.
10Verálo el impío, y se despechará; crujirá los dientes, y se repudrirá: perecerá el deseo de los impíos.

1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his commandments.
2His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
3Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
4Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.
5It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
6For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
7He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
8His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
9He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
10The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
